Players & Monsters
Players can choose different damage types based on their weapon. Specific types always belong belong to it "parent" type, e.g. Crushing damage belongs to Physical and Fire damage belongs to Magical. In contrast, monsters do not work in same vein, e.g. Fire damage used by monster can be Physical.

A rare damage type. Unlike other types, there is currently no means of gaining specific mitigation against this type of damage, both for players and monsters.
Sources
- Ethereal weapons.
- Unlocking a non-Void weapon's potency to level 10 (Hollowforged) will change it's damage type to Void.
- Enhancing an weapon with Voidseeker's Blessing temporary changes the damage type to void.
- The Special Skill Orbital Friendship Cannon.

Searing Skin: The skin of the target has been scorched, inhibiting its attack damage. Cold resistance is lowered.
