Abilities provide various boosts, new spells, slots for items / auras, and elemental resistances. At every 10 levels (and at level 1) a new tier of abilities is unlocked.

Ability Points

Abilities require ability points (AP) to be activated or increased in strength.

Sources

  • One AP is granted per level.
  • AP may be purchased via Ability Boost Training (up to 100).
  • Players have a chance to receive 1 AP when offering artifacts at the Shrine.

Investing

Simply click on an ability when you have AP available to invest in it. All abilities use 1, 3, or 5 AP maximum. For spells, only the first AP is needed to unlock the spell. Any additional AP invested will grant more duration or strength to it. It currently takes 627 AP to max out all of the available abilities.

Certain abilities require prerequisites to unlock.

Basic Abilities

Every tier has the following:

  • exp.png Experience Bonus (x3) - boosts EXP gains by 3%
  • hp.png Health Tank (x3) - boosts total HP by 3%
  • mp.png Magic Tank (x3) - boosts total MP by 3%
  • sp.png Spirit Tank (x3) - boosts total SP by 3%
    • oc.png Overcharge Boost (x5) - boosts Overcharge limit by 2%

Tier 1

Unlocks at Level 1.

  • 0130.png Fireball - A ball of fire is hurled at the target, causing Fire damage. (Fire I - Single Target)
    • 0132.png Inferno (x5) - Unleashes an inferno of flames on all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Fire I - Area of Effect)
      • 0131.png Flame Tongues (x5) - Increases your Fire Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0133.png Poison (x5) - Inflicts Spreading Poison on one target, causing damage over time. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • as.png Aura Slot I - Unlocks an Aura Slot, allowing you to spend an Aura Point to activate an aura. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)

Tier 2

Unlocks at Level 10.

  • 0230.png Icestrike - Launches a pillar of ice against the target, causing Cold damage. (Cold I - Single Target)
    • 0232.png Snowstorm (x5) - A snow storm surrounds all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Cold I - Area of Effect)
      • 0231.png Cold Snap (x5) - Increases your Cold Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0233.png Slow (x5) - The target is slowed, making it attack less frequently. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • is.png Item Slots I - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • 0530.png Cure - Restores a moderate amount of Health on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)

Tier 3

Unlocks at Level 20.

  • 0330.png Lightning - A bolt of lightning strikes the target, causing Elec damage. (Elec I - Single Target)
    • 0332.png Thunderstorm (x5) - A thunder storm surrounds all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Elec I - Area of Effect)
      • 0331.png Static Charge (x5) - Increases your Electrical Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0333.png Weaken (x5) - The target is weakened, making it deal less damage with physical attacks. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • as.png Aura Slot II - Unlocks another Aura Slot, allowing you to spend an Aura Point to activate another aura. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • ss.png Scroll Slot I - Increases your number of Battle Scroll Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles.

Tier 4

Unlocks at Level 30.

  • 0430.png Windblast - A blast of wind hits the target, causing Wind damage. (Wind I - Single Target)
    • 0432.png Cyclone (x5) - A cyclone surrounds all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Wind I - Area of Effect)
      • 0431.png Storm Field (x5) - Increases your Wind Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0433.png Sleep (x5) - The target is lulled to sleep, preventing it from taking any actions. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • is.png Item Slots II - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • 0532.png Protection - Enhances the protective gear of the target, boosting the natural physical and magical defenses of the armor by 25%. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)

Tier 5

Unlocks at Level 40.

  • m1510.png Condemn - Holy damage. (Holy I - Single Target)
    • m1511.png Purge (x5) - Holy damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Holy I - Area of Effect)
      • 0531.png Redemption (x5) - Increases your Holy Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0533.png Haste (x5) - The target is hastened, allowing it to attack more frequently. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • as.png Aura Slot III - Unlocks another Aura Slot, allowing you to spend an Aura Point to activate another aura. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • in.png Infusion Slot I - Increases your number of Battle Infusion Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)

Tier 6

Unlocks at Level 50.

  • 0630.png Flare - A powerful fiery blast envelops the target, causing heavy Fire damage. (Fire II - Single Target)
    • 0632.png Meteor (x5) - A meteor strikes the battlefield, enveloping all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Fire II - Area of Effect)
      • 0631.png Hellfire (x5) - Increases your Fire Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0633.png Shadow Veil (x5) - A veil of shadows surrounds the target, making it harder to hit with physical attacks. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • is.png Item Slots III - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)

Tier 7

Unlocks at Level 60.

  • 0730.png Freeze - Cold damage. (Cold II - Single Target)
    • 0732.png Blizzard (x5) - Cold damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Cold II - Area of Effect)
      • 0731.png Absolute Zero (x5) - Increases your Cold Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0733.png Confuse (x5) - Confuses the target, making it lunge out wildly and strike friends and foes alike. Additional points increases the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • af.png Focused Aura I - Increases your maximum Aura Rank by one, allowing you to upgrade your auras to become more powerful. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • ss.png Scroll Slot II - Increases your number of Battle Scroll Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles.

Tier 8

Unlocks at Level 70.

  • 0830.png Ball Lightning - Elec damage. (Elec II - Single Target)
    • 0832.png Column Lightning (x5) - Elec damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Elec II - Area of Effect)
      • 0831.png Super Conductor (x5) - Increases your Elec Resistance by 2% per point.
  • m2040.png Bewilder (x5) - The target is bewildered, making it deal less damage with magical attacks. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • is.png Item Slots IV - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • 1030.png Regen - Places a heal over time effect on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)

Tier 9

Unlocks at Level 80.

  • 0930.png Gale - Wind damage. (Wind II - Single Target)
    • 0932.png Hurricane (x5) - Wind damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Wind II - Area of Effect)
      • 0931.png Pressure System (x5) - Increases your Wind Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0933.png Blind (x5) - Blinds the target, reducing its chance of landing attacks and hitting with magic spells. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • xitem.png X-Item - Your skills at using items are boosted, decreasing usage time by 25%. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • in.png Infusion Slot II - Increases your number of Battle Infusion Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)

Tier 10

Unlocks at Level 90.

  • 1130.png Smite - Holy damage. (Holy II - Single Target)
    • 1132.png Banish (x5) - Holy damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Holy II - Area of Effect)
      • 1031.png Sanctity (x5) - Increases your Holy Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 1033.png Absorb (x5) - The next magical attack against the target may be absorbed and partially converted to MP. Additional points increase the duration and power of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • xattack.png X-Attack - Your skills at wielding weapons are boosted, decreasing attack time by 25%. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)

Tier 11

Unlocks at Level 100.

  • m1720.png Soul Reaper - Soul damage. (Soul I - Single Target)
    • m1721.png Soul Harvest (x5) - Soul damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Soul I - Area of Effect)
      • m1722.png Searing Radiance (x5) - Increases your Soul Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 1133.png Spark of Life (x5) - Any attack that would normally kill you leaves you alive with a small percentage of HP. The buff is removed when triggered, and 50% of the player's base SP is consumed in the process. Additional points increase the duration of the spell and the amount of HP the player is left alive with. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • af.png Focused Aura II - Increases your maximum Aura Rank by one, allowing you to upgrade your auras to become more powerful. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • 0530.png Cure II - Restores a large amount of Health on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)

Tier 12

Unlocks at Level 110.

  • m1130.png Nova - Fire damage. (Fire III - Single Target)
    • m1131.png Flames of Loki (x5) - Fire damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Fire III - Area of Effect)
      • m1132.png Mark of Muspell (x5) - Increases your Fire Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 0833.png Silence (x5) - The target is silenced, preventing it from using special attacks and magic. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • ss.png Scroll Slot III - Increases your number of Battle Scroll Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • m4050.png Flame Spikes - A shield of flames surrounds the target. Fire mitigation is increased, and physical attackers take minor fire damage. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)

Tier 13

Unlocks at Level 130.

  • m1230.png Cryostasis - Cold damage. (Cold III - Single Target)
    • m1231.png Fimbulvetr (x5) - Cold damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Cold III - Area of Effect)
      • m1232.png Crest of Niflheim (x5) - Increases your Cold Resistance by 2% per point.
  • m4020.png Arcane Meditation (x5) - The target attains a higher level of attunement with the arcane forces, increasing magic damage, accuracy, and crit chance. Additional points increase the duration and power of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • in.png Infusion Slot III - Increases your number of Battle Infusion Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • m4051.png Frost Spikes - A shield of frost surrounds the target. Cold mitigation is increased, and physical attackers take minor cold damage. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)

Tier 14

Unlocks at Level 150.

  • 1230.png Corruption - Dark damage. (Dark I - Single Target)
    • 1232.png Pestilence (x5) - Dark damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Dark I - Area of Effect)
      • 1231.png Suppressive Darkness (x5) - Increases your Dark Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 1233.png Nerf (x5) - The target is nerfed, decreasing its attack damage, magic damage, evade chance, resist chance, physical defense, and magical defense. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Single Target)
  • is.png Item Slots V - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • 1030.png Regen II - Places a long-lasting heal over time effect on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)

Tier 15

Unlocks at Level 170.

  • m1330.png Shockblast - Elec damage. (Elec III - Single Target)
    • m1331.png Wrath of Thor (x5) - Elec damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Elec III - Area of Effect)
      • m1332.png Rune of Asgard (x5) - Increases your Elec Resistance by 2% per point.
  • m4021.png Heartseeker (x5) - The target attains intimate knowledge of the source of life in all living things, increasing attack power, accuracy, and crit chance. Additional points increase the duration and power of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • ss.png Scroll Slot IV - Increases the number of Battle Scroll Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battle. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • m4060.png Lightning Spikes - A shield of lightning surrounds the target. Elec mitigation is increased, and physical attackers take minor elec damage. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)

Tier 16

Unlocks at Level 190.

  • m1430.png Downburst - Wind damage. (Wind III - Single Target)
    • m1431.png Storms of Njord (x5) - Wind damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Wind III - Area of Effect)
      • m1432.png Call of Kvothe (x5) - Increases your Wind Resistance by 2% per point.
  • m4040.png Spirit Shield (x5) - Powerful attacks against you will be partially absorbed and damage your spirit gauge instead of health. Additional points increase the duration and power of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
  • af.png Focused Aura III - Increases your maximum Aura Rank by one, allowing you to upgrade your auras to become more powerful. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • m4061.png Storm Spikes - A shield of storms surrounds the target. Wind mitigation is increased, and physical attackers take minor wind damage. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)

Tier 17

Unlocks at Level 200.

  • 1330.png Disintegrate - Dark damage. (Dark II - Single Target)
    • 1332.png Ragnarok (x5) - Dark damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Dark II - Area of Effect)
      • 1331.png Eternal Night (x5) - Increases your Dark Resistance by 2% per point.
  • 1333.png X-Nerf (x5) - All hostile targets are nerfed, decreasing their attack damage, magic damage, evade chance, resist chance, physical defense, and magical defense. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Deprecating - Area of Effect)
  • xmagic.png X-Magic - Your skills at wielding the mystical magic powers are boosted, decreasing cast time by 25%. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • 0530.png Cure III - Restores a huge amount of Health on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)

Tier 18

Unlocks at Level 250.

  • m1740.png Soul Fire - Soul damage. (Soul II - Single Target)
    • m1741.png Soul Burst (x5) - Soul damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increase spell damage. (Soul II - Area of Effect)
      • 1832.png Spirit Nexus (x5) - Increases your Soul Resistance by 2% per point.
  • m2082.png MagNet (x5) - A net of pure energy is cast on the target, hindering and magically grounding it, making it slower and unable to evade attacks or spells.
  • af.png Focused Aura IV - Increases your maximum Aura Rank by one, allowing you to upgrade your auras to become more powerful. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset)
  • m2090.png Lifestream - Places a health tap effect on the target, returning a small amount of health to the caster on each target turn.

Ability Reset

Abilities can be reset out of battle for a credit cost.

Reset cost = round(((N - 1) * 10) ^ 1.8) + 100

where N is the number of resets already done. This cost caps at 10,000C.

The following abilities cannot be reset once activated:

Item Slots, Aura Slots, X-Abilities, Scroll Slots, Infusion Slots, and Focused Auras.
