Cards
A rare item known as a "Mystery Card" can be obtained and is a slottable battle item.
At the beginning of each round after the first there is a ~5% chance that the player will successfully "Draw" a card. This reveals the card's name and allows the player to actually use the card (auto-assigned to the "C" battle slot). Any card drawn but not used is not consumed. The duration of a card's effect ranges between 3-5 turns.
| Name | Chance | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Clubs | 22.5% | Stuns all monsters for x turns. |
| Diamonds | 22.5% | Blinds all monsters for x turns. |
| Hearts | 22.5% | Bleeds all monsters for x turns. |
| Spades | 22.5% | Slows all monsters for x turns. |
| Blank | 5% | Confuses all monsters for x turns. |
| Stars | 4% | One of the 4 common suits chosen at random with an increased duration. |
| Joker | 1% | Combined effect of all 4 common suits. |
| Rules | 0.1% | Kills all monsters. |
- New Skill: Heart of the Cards[37] - Requires having no drawn card. The player attempts to draw a card with a 50% chance for success. Can only be used once per battle series.
- New Skill: Shuffle - Requires a drawn card. Will sacrifice the current card for another one which is instantly used with its effect(s) duration doubled. Round-based cooldown.
- New Hath Perk: Sleight of Hand - Have a x% chance to use a card for free (no Mystery Card consumed).
- New Hath Perk: Gambit - Increases the chances of drawing a card at the beginning the round by x%.
Mounts
Mounts are a rare type of equipment that can be worn in a "Mount" slot. They can be assigned to Equipment Sets and have condition. They do not have suffixes, Item Worlds, procs, or interactions with infusions/shards. Mounts may have elemental prefixes.
The potential stats on a mount are largely defensive and include Alleviation (anti-Burden).
Mounting requires a turn to activate and has a turn-based cooldown. Staying mounted becomes more difficult with each successive turn (can even be thrown off right away at low proficiency). Stamina consumed is increased each turn a mount is active (scaling with quality). Players only benefit from a mount's stats and skills whilst mounted.
| Name | Quality | Est. Bonus Stats |
|---|---|---|
| Mule | Crude | N/A |
| Foal | Fair | 1% Alleviation |
| Horse | Average | 2% Alleviation, 1% Resist |
| Purebreed | Superior | 3% Alleviation, 2% Resist |
| Warsteed | Exquisite | 4% Alleviation, 3% Resist |

| Pegasus | Legendary | 6% Alleviation, 5% Resist, 2% Dodge |
| Cyber-Stallion | Peerless | 8% Alleviation, 6% Resist, 4% Dodge |
- New Proficiency: Riding - Increases the chances of staying mounted. Increased by staying mounted in battle.
- New Skill: Trample - Requires 100 Riding proficiency. Damage a monster with a 50% chance to either Stun or Blind it for 3 turns. Turn-based cooldown.
- New Hath Perk: My Horse Is Amazing - Mounting action speed is reduced to 0.
Gate Dungeon
A new battle mode where monsters have levels higher than that of the player and "Gateways" appear every few rounds. Unlike all other modes a player's round progression in this mode is saved until the next dawn. The player resumes at the last round they fled from but the monsters are reset. Players attempt to get as far as they can for increasingly better rewards using the Gate Keys they've saved up.
Gateways
- Act as monsters. Have 3 ranks (Alpha, Beta, and Gamma).
- All damage against them is rendered to 0 so that they cannot be defeated by normal means.
- The number, ranks, and strength of Gateways increases based on the # of rounds cleared.
- Can only destroyed by using a Gate Key item of the same rank.
- Will always drop a T1-7 drop (scaling with # of rounds cleared).
- New Items: Gate Key - Battle slottable Special Item. Instantly kills a Gateway. Slightly higher drop rate than other Special Items. Consumed upon use.
- Variety of 3 (same ranks as Gateways): Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Higher rank keys are rarer.
- New Hath Perk: Gate Crasher - Destroyed Gateways have a x% to drop a Gate Key of the same rank or lower.
Capsules
A dropped item. Can be equipped to a Capsule slot. Accumulates CXP only through clearing rounds of higher difficulty or through special activities. Will hatch into an equipment piece once it reaches its maximum potency. The type and quality of equipment hatched depends on the capsule's type and size. Larger capsules require more CXP before hatching.

Players may freely select the rank of expedition as long as their monster meets the power level requirement. Success rates are boosted by a monster's chaos upgrade levels.
