Cards [WIP]

Uses a battle slottable item "Mystery Card". At the beginning of each round after the first there is a ~5% chance that the player will successfully "Draw" a card. This reveals the card's name and allows the player to actually use the card (auto-assigned to the "C" battle slot). Any card drawn but not used is not consumed. The duration of a card's effect ranges between 3-5 turns.

Name Chance Effect
Clubs 22.5% Stuns all monsters.
Diamonds 22.5% Blinds all monsters.
Hearts 22.5% Bleeds all monsters.
Spades 22.5% Slows all monsters.
Blank 5% Confuses all monsters.
Stars 4% One of the 4 common suits chosen at random with an increased duration.
Joker 0.9% Combined effect of all 4 common suits.
Rules 0.1% Kills all monsters.
  • New Skill: Heart of the Cards[39] - Requires having no drawn card. The player attempts to draw a card with a 50% chance for success. Can only be used once per battle series.
  • New Skill: Shuffle - Requires a drawn card. Will sacrifice the current card for another one which is instantly used with its effect(s) duration doubled. Round-based cooldown.
  • New Hath Perk: Sleight of Hand - Have a 10% chance to use a card for free (no Mystery Card consumed).
  • New Hath Perk: Gambit - Increases the chances of drawing a card at the beginning the round by 20%.

Mounts

A rare type of equipment that can be worn in a "Mount" slot. Can be assigned to Equipment Sets and have condition. Mounts may have elemental prefixes. They do not have suffixes, Item Worlds, procs, or interactions with infusions/shards. The potential stats on a mount include Alleviation (anti-Burden).

Mounting requires a turn to activate and has a turn-based cooldown. Staying mounted becomes more difficult with each successive turn. Stamina consumed is increased each turn a mount is active. Players only benefit from a mount's stats and skills whilst mounted.

Name Quality Stamina Usage Est. Bonus Stats
Mule Crude 150% 1% Alleviation
Foal Fair 145% 3% Alleviation
Horse Average 145% 5% Alleviation, 1% Resist
Purebreed Superior 140% 7% Alleviation, 2% Resist

  • New Proficiency: Riding - Increases the chances of staying mounted. Increased by staying mounted in battle.
  • New Skill: Trample - Requires 100 Riding proficiency. Damage a monster with a 50% chance to either Stun or Blind it for 3 turns. Turn-based cooldown or uses Overcharge.
  • New Hath Perk: My Horse Is Amazing[40] - Mounting action speed is reduced to 0.

Gate Dungeon [WIP]

A new battle mode where monsters have levels much higher than that of the player and "Gateways" appear every 10 rounds. The dungeon caps at round 100. Players attempt to get as far as they can for increasingly better rewards using the Gate Keys they've saved up.

Gateways

  • Monsters with powerful attacks. Have 4 ranks (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Omega). Will always drop a T1-7 drop.
  • All damage against them is rendered to 0 so that they cannot be defeated by normal means. Can only destroyed by using a Gate Key item of the same rank.
  • New Items: Gate Key - Battle slottable Special Item. Instantly kills a Gateway of a matching rank. Consumed upon use. Tradeable.
  • New Hath Perk: I Am The Keymaster[41] - Destroyed Gateways have a 10% to drop a Gate Key of the same rank or lower.

Layout

  • Round 10 - 1 Alpha Gate
  • Round 20 - 2 Alpha Gates
  • Round 30 - 3 Alpha Gates
  • Round 40 - 1 Alpha + 1 Beta Gate
  • Round 50 - 2 Beta Gates

  • Round 70 - 1 Beta + 1 Gamma Gate
  • Round 80 - 2 Gamma Gates
  • Round 90 - 3 Gamma Gates
  • Round 100 - 1 Omega Gate
  • There is a very small chance for a "Gate Seeker" monster to appear in any non-10th round. If scanned before it is defeated the player is sent directly to the next 10th round.

Capsules

A dropped item. Can be equipped to a Capsule slot. Accumulates CXP through clearing rounds of higher difficulty or special activities. Will hatch into an equipment piece once it reaches its CXP cap. The type and quality of equipment depends on the capsule's type and size; larger capsules require more CXP.

Success chances are boosted by a monster's chaos upgrade levels.
