Donation

Donations allow users to support E-Hentai financially. Currently, the method for doing this is limited to using Bitcoins.

How-To

1. Convert funds to BitCoins or use the BitCoin network through a client such as Bitcoin-qt.
2. Visit the Donation page.
3. Send the desired amount of BitCoins to the wallet on the page (unique to each user; note that this is a deposit-only wallet and may not be used for any other purposes).
4. Enter an amount in USD to donate (can also be used to Adopt-A-Server).
5. BitCoins in a user's E-Hentai wallet will be converted to US dollars at the time they are applied to a donation, using the exchange rate shown on the Donation page. E-Hentai currently uses whichever is highest of the 7-day and 24-hour weighted averages provided by bitcoincharts.com plus a 10% bonus to cover for transaction fees and random volatility. It is recommended for those who have just purchased BitCoins to complete the transfer ASAP.
6. Users DO NOT need to send Tenboro a PM after the transaction has been confirmed; donations are credited automatically.

Buying BitCoins

• The most recommended sites to use are Coinbase, Bitstamp, BTC-e, or Circle.
• To buy from other individuals use LocalBitcoins.
• Check if your local area has a BitCoin ATM.

Rewards

• Donations are cumulative; e.g. if a user donates $20 then an additional $30 later on, that will count as $50 in donations for that user's donation level.
• Adopt-A-Server slots are NOT considered donations and thus do not count towards a user's donation level.

One-Time

• 10,000 credits per every dollar donated.

Stars

Stars are gained by reaching certain donation amounts. These rewards are permanent and cannot be deactivated. Stars determine the amounts of GP, credits, and Hath received every Dawn of a New Day. Users can go to this page to check the total amount they have donated.

• Free doggie bag amounts are per day but average over a 7-day sliding window (and they do not apply to recreated archives).
• The Mod Power bonus is part of the capped portion.

Those willing to spend money to support the site but who are unable to donate via BitCoin may also consider Renting A Seedbox.

Trading for BitCoins

Users may exchange E-Hentai currency or HentaiVerse assets for BitCoins as long as they are sent directly to an E-Hentai wallet address. Any other trading for BitCoins is not permitted. Users may locate their E-Hentai wallet address via their Donation page. Prices for BTC and potential trading partners may be found via the WTB and WTS forums.

Other Methods

No other methods are usable for donating due to various complications. There are no plans for this to change. Users who wish to use PayPal or other third-party services to acquire BitCoins may do so via VirWoX.

PayPal

PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy states that "You may not use the PayPal service for activities that: (2) relate to transactions involving (i) certain sexually oriented materials"; no definition is given for this. They may freeze accounts and deduct $2,500 per violation (as a "reasonable minimum") from any account at their sole discretion. Transactions for "sexually oriented digital goods delivered through a digital medium" are specifically prohibited.
