Renting A Seedbox

This is a guide to renting a server or similar service for the purposes of running a Hentai@Home client on it.

Why

This is often considered the best option for contributing to the site using real money for users who are unable to donate or adopt a server. It is also the best way to generate Hath period. Note that the rewards for doing this are restricted to those of running an H@H client.

Requirements

• At least 1 H@H client ID will be needed. If one is already owned additional IDs may be requested by PMing Tenboro.

Server

• Users should pick servers from within their local region and language to minimize complications.
• There is no need to purchase any additional features for the sake of running an H@H client. Only remote access and JRE/JDK support are needed.

• If starting H@H over SSH, it is recommended to run it in a screen to prevent it from terminating when disconnecting from the session (e.g. "screen -r").
