HentaiVerse Ideas

Spells

  • Dark Spark - Supportive spell. Same effect as Spark of Life with the addition that triggering it damages all monsters by a set amount of void damage (e.g. player_level * something).
    • Changes HP bar to a shade of black rather than silver.
    • Costs more MP and has higher requirements than SoL.
    • Cannot be IA'd.
  • Envision - Supportive spell. Cuts the damage of the next Magic or Spirit attack received in half. Lasts 5 turns.
  • Amplify - Deprecating spell. Increases the damage done AND received by the target by x%.

Multi-Types

  • Frostfire - Offensive spell. Deals either Cold or Fire damage based on whatever the target is weakest against.
    • For AoE form each monster is handled individually. If a monster has equal resistance to each element then one is chosen at random.
  • Thundernado - Offensive spell. Deals either Wind or Elec damage based on whatever the target is weakest against.
  • Yin-Yang Qi Lang - Offensive spell. Deals either Holy or Dark damage based on whatever the target is weakest against.
  • Chaos Burst - Offensive spell. Deals damage of any (non-Void) damage type based on whatever the target is weakest against.

Skills

  • Steal - Attempts to get an item from the target. Results are random but based on the target's level and difficulty. Reduces the player's defenses during the turn it is used. Failure makes the target agitated (+25% damage). Cooldown of x turns.
  • Tickle - Has a 50% chance to stun the target for x turns. Failure makes the target agitated (+25% damage). Cooldown of x turns.

Gate Dungeon

A new battle mode where monsters have inflated levels and a Gateway appears every x rounds. The round before a Gateway appears will always include a Guardian.

Guardians are fairly resistant to all damage types and never drop any items. This is so that they are not worth farming. Gateways act as monsters with all damage against them rendered to 0; thus they cannot be defeated by normal means. A Gateway can only destroyed by using a Gate Key token. Gateways will always drop a T4-6 drop (scales with how many rounds have been cleared up to a cap of 3 Gateways' worth).

  • New Item: Gate Key - Battle slottable token. Instantly kills a Gateway. Consumed upon use.
  • New Hath Perk: Gate Crasher - Destroyed Gateways have a small chance to drop a Gate Key.

Terrains

These affect every round of every battle mode besides RoB. They give a bonus to monsters, likely defensive. Each terrain (besides Field) gives the bonus only to the monster class indicated below. Fields appear 50% of the time; all other terrains (the other 50%) have an evenly distributed chance to appear (1/14). The same terrain cannot appear 2 rounds in a row (see new difficulty for the exception).

  • Field: None
  • Cave: Beasts
  • Mountain: Giants
  • Campsite: Humanoids
  • Lake: Elemental
  • Forest: Anthropods
  • Jungle: Reptilian
  • Spring: Sprites
  • Volcanic: Dragonkin
  • Cliff: Avion
  • Hellhole: Daimons
  • Factory: Mechanoids
  • Graveyard: Undead
  • Sanctuary: Celestial
  • Fortress: ALL Classes

  • New Hath Perk: Planeswalker - Reduces the bonus monsters receive when not in a Field or Fortress.
  • New Hath Perk: Fortitude - Reduces the bonus monsters receive when in a Fortress.
  • New Skill: Turf Buster - Single target attack. Does bonus damage to any monster that is benefiting from the current terrain. Bonus applies to any monster if in a Fortress. Cooldown of x turns.
  • New Spell: Float - Deprecating spell. Removes target monster's terrain bonus for x turns.
  • New Difficulty: Final Pantasy - PFUDOR's penalties + ALL battles occur within a Fortress.

Quests

Players who are at least level 100 may "Pray" to Snowflake at the Shrine once per day in order to receive a quest with a ~50% chance of success. The quest given is randomly chosen as is the prize for completing one. A quest must be completed and "handed in" by returning to the Shrine before the next dawn event or it will be counted as failed.

Name Requirements
Explore That World Complete 50 rounds in a single Item World run. The Item World does not have to be cleared.
Get That Loot Get something rare to drop in battle (any token, artifact, figurine, special item, or elixir).
Face That Encounter Complete 8 Random Encounters. (Since this requires 4 hours of real time I don't think it can be higher.)
Grind That Fest Complete 50 rounds in a single GrindFest run.
Crush That Gem Use 10 Powerup Gems.
Conquer That Arena Complete 50 rounds in a single Arena challenge (requires Endgame or higher). The Arena challenge does not have to be cleared (technical exception being Endgame).
Kill That Monster Kill 200 monsters. (Seems about proportional to Endgame which has 234 monsters. IW and GF are more varied.)
Verb That Noun N/A. ("Looks like Snowflake had nothing for you to do today. Try again tomorrow.")
  • New Training: Devotion - Increases the chances of a successful Prayer by 5%. 10 ranks. Fully trained grants 100% chance.
  • New Hath Perk: Blasphemy - Allows for a second Prayer once per day. Will replace the existing quest if one is already assigned.

Quest Rewards

Reward Chance
500x Crystals 35%
5x Soul Fragments 20%
1x Chaos or Blood Token 20%
1x Precursor Artifact 10%
1x Quest Trophy (T6) 4%
1x Scrap 1%
1x Figurine 0.1%
  • New Hath Perk: Ya Dun Good - Increases the odds of getting better quest rewards.

Mounts

Mounts are a rare type of armor-like equipment that can be worn in a new "Mount" slot. They can be assigned to an Equipment Set and have condition (or rather the saddle does). As usual a condition below 50% causes the mount's benefits to decrease until repairs are made (probably with leather scraps). They do not have suffixes, Item Worlds, procs, or interaction with infusions/shards.

The stats of a mount are based on its quality. The potential stats are (in order of priority) Alleviation (anti-Burden), Evade, and Physical Mitigation. Mounts always have an elemental prefix (Ruby, Cobalt, Amber, Jade, Zircon, Onyx) with the appropriate specific resistance.

Quality Bonus Stats
Mule (Crude) N/A
Foal (Fair) 1% Haste
Horse (Average) 2% Haste, 1% Resist
Purebreed (Superior) 3% Haste, 2% Resist
Warsteed (Exquisite) 5% Haste, 3% Resist
Undead Equine (Magnificent) 8% Haste, 4% Resist, 1% Damage
Pegasus (Legendary) 11% Haste, 5% Resist, 3% Damage
Cyber Stallion (Peerless) 15% Haste, 6% Resist, 5% Damage
  • New Proficiency: Riding - Increases the effectiveness of your mount's stats. Increased by using a mount in battle.
  • New Skill: Trample - Requires 100 Riding proficiency. Damage a single target and has a 50% chance to either stun or blind for 3 turns. x turn cooldown.
  • New Hath Perk: My Horse Is Amazing - Get a free turn at the beginning of every battle series (including Random Encounters) as long as you have a mount equipped.

Cards

A rare item known as a "Mystery Card" can be obtained and is a slottable battle item. Like all items it will restock itself mid-battle assuming the player owns enough.

At the beginning of each round after the first there is a ~5% chance that the player will successfully "Draw" a card. This reveals the card's name and allows the player to actually use the card (auto-assigned to a special "C" battle slot). Effectively only 1 card may be used per round and frequent card usage is impossible. Any drawn but unused card is not consumed. The duration of a card's effects range between 3-5 turns.

Name Rarity Effect
Clubs Common Stuns all monsters for x turns.
Diamonds Common Blinds all monsters for x turns.
Hearts Common Bleeds all monsters for x turns.
Spades Common Slows all monsters for x turns.
Blank Uncommon (4% chance) Confuses all monsters for x turns. (This is meant to be a less desired card).
Stars Uncommon (4% chance) One of the 4 normal suits chosen at random but with an increased duration.
Joker Rare (1% chance) Combined effect of all 4 normal suits. Duration of each individual effect is still random.
Rules Ultra-Rare (0.1% chance) Kills all monsters.

All of the following require a card to be slotted:

  • New Skill: Heart of the Cards - Requires having no drawn card. The player attempts to draw a card with a 50% chance for success. Can only be used once per battle series.
    • This makes the odds of getting a Rules card in RoB 1 in 2,000; hence the name.
  • New Skill: Shuffle - Requires having a drawn card. Will sacrifice the current card for another one which is then instantly used but has double the effect duration. 10 round cooldown.
  • New Hath Perk: Sleight of Hand - Have a x% chance to draw a card for free.
  • New Hath Perk: Gambit - Increases the chances of drawing a card at the beginning the round.
