Item World (IW) is one of the battle modes in the HentaiVerse mini-game. Item World allows you to do battle inside any piece of equipment not equipped to your current equipment set in order to level it up.

Rounds

An Item World has as many rounds as the equipment you enter has levels if it is under 100. The number of levels if it is over 100 is:

round(log($level, 1.01)-363)

If you are defeated or flee in any round you must start over again to complete the IW for an item level up.

Item Level Up

Clearing an Item World may increase the level of the item depending on your difficulty setting. When an item levels up, its stats will increase in accordance with level scaling (though this may not be immediately visible, due to rounding). You may level up items beyond your current Henjutsu level.

EXP

The difficulty and EXP gained depends on the quality rating of the item. A Magnificent item will have significantly harder mobs than a Crude one. Like in the Grindfest, monsters start at 50% base damage and increase by 1% per round. Experience gained is significantly higher than the equivalent difficulty Grindfest, however you do not gain any credits inside the Item World. Item world does, however, have the same drop quality bonuses as Grindfest.

Cooldown

After clearing an item, you cannot re-enter it for 20 hours (the counters starts from the equip clear time, not from IW start time), but you can immediately try again if you're defeated or flee. This time can be reduced via Spelunker training. Additionally, an Item World's cooldown time persists between players - if a player buys a piece of equipment that was recently cleared by the previous owner, they will not be able to enter it until the 20 hours have lapsed.

Difficulty & Levels Gained

  • Easy: 0 or 1 level.
  • Normal: Guaranteed 1, possible 2.
  • Hard - Nintendo: Guaranteed 1, increased chance of 2 with each higher difficulty.
  • Battletoads: Guaranteed 2, chance of 3.
  • IWBTH: Guaranteed 2, higher chance of 3 than Battletoads (most likely).
