Weapons
Weapons can be divided into three different catagories. For more information on each type of weapons, see Weapons.
One-Handed Weapons
- Dagger, Shortsword, Wakizashi, Axe, Club, Rapier, Sword Chucks
Two-Handed Weapons
- Longsword, Scythe, Katana, Mace, Estoc
Staffs
- Ebony, Redwood, Willow, Oak, Katalox
Armor
Armor can be divided into three different catagories with various types of each. Each type has particular strengths and weaknesses and suit the needs of different character builds and play styles. For more information on each type of armor, see Armor.
Shields
- Buckler, Kite Shield, Tower Shield
Cloth
- Cotton, Gossamer, Phase

Note: other types of armors from older versions of the game may be found in the equipment shop that no longer drop from battles
Prefixes and Suffixes
All Equipment has prefixes for the quality of an equipment and a suffix that provides an extra effect.
Prefixes
The prefix of the equipment determines the quality of the equipment. Quality has an effect on the stats of the equipment, where higher quality equipment generally has better stats and lower interference and burden.
- Crude
- Fair
- Average
- Fine
- Superior
- Exquisite
- Magnificent
- Legendary (according to Tenboro, only three Legendary equips have been generated as of late April 2011; all are linked at the Equipment Numbers page).
Weapons with the quality grade of fine or above can also the very rare prefix Ethereal. While it is true that the stats on ethereal weapons are significantly worse than non-ethereal weapons, they still can be useful. First they have no interference or burden. Secondly, soul damage does significantly more damage than normal to bosses, legendaries, and the Gods.
Suffixes
Suffixes are special characteristics that can be found on all weapons and armor and add or improve certain stats. For the full list of suffixes, see Equipment Suffixes
Equipment Popups
To open a popup window listing the stats for a piece of equipment, simply mouse over the equipment (in either the Equipment Shop or the character equipment screen) and press C. Caps Lock must be off and your browser must be set to allow popups from the HentaiVerse. This allows the stats or the equipment URL to be copied and pasted, for example in a forum post.
