Talk:voyeurism

What about spying on people on a nude beach? Or on a girl waling in lingerie, but not on the act of stripping itself? Or just wearing sexy clothes? Perhaps just spying on people and getting sexual enjoyment would be a better def, no need to try to limit the type of activities people spy on. --Red Piotrus (talk) 04:06, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

Proposed revised def: "Spying on people engaged in sexual behavior, stripping, in the washroom, being at least partially nude, or wearing reveling clothing." I know that 'reveling clothing' is iffy, but the point is, who are we to judge what people spy on? Heck, if the guy masturbates watching through his spyglass a girl that's wearing normal clothes and doing normal clothes, but is in her house, isn't this voyeurism as well? Well, maybe that's a bit too far, but Wiki def is more encompassing then ours and possibly strictly better: "Voyeurism is the sexual interest in or practice of spying on people engaged in intimate behaviors, such as undressing, sexual activity, or other actions usually considered to be of a private nature". --Red Piotrus (talk) 04:08, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

From what I've read it just has to be sexual in nature and lack awareness of the one watched. The rest is just pedantry. Will look over. - Maximum Joe (talk) 18:47, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
