The primary purpose of GP is as a currency to purchase [[Doggie Bag|doggie bags]] of galleries. A far more popular purpose however, is to [[Gallery Point Exchange|convert]] GP to [[credits]] (at a 10:1 ratio), for other uses such as the [[HentaiVerse]] or for purchasing [[Hath]].

GP can also be used as a currency for the [[Hath Exchange]], where users can bid to purchase [[Hath]], which can be used to obtain from other users that willing to sell for a selling price that is set by the poster. [[Hath]] is used to obtain [[Hath Perks]].

Originally, the value of GP was static, at a rate of .2 credits equaled one GP (similarly, 5 GP would equal 1 credit). However, the value of GP now is variable, dependent on how much GP is converted by users globally over the time, between each conversion. While the actual conversion amount fluctuates widely, the conversion rate was subject to inflation and at high point in mid-2009 roes to 23 GP per credit. The rate was reset to a little above 10 GP for 1 credit in August.

  • A portion of the cost of when someone Doggie Bag's said galleries
  • Receiving hits while running a Hentai@Home client

  • Writing informative comments and reviews for galleries
