Usually guys in women's clothing, but may also be the other way around. For the latter, it should only be tagged if there's a clear intent to make the woman dress like a guy e.g. for story reasons.

An archetype of vore, used when a person or creature is being consumed, typically by the vagina of a woman. Essentially birth in reverse and thus does not imply it or pregnant.

Peeing.

asian

Of Asian descent. Should ONLY be used in Cosplay galleries.

Do not use on Asian Porn galleries, it is expected.

Blonde hair.

brunette

Dark hair. Don't use this for Asian girls.

downblouse

Clear view down (or up) a woman's shirt.

gay

Sex between two males. Use yaoi for the drawn kind.

hardcore

Explicit depictions of sexual acts such as vaginal or anal penetration.

lesbians

Sex between two females. Use yuri for the drawn kind.

non-nude

Should only be used on Cosplay galleries where no nudity is present. Non-nude Asian Porn galleries are forbidden.

redhead

Red hair.

upskirt

Clear view up a woman's skirt. Way too common in manga to use it there.

Usually computer-generated imagery. Not a tag for real porn.

All the pages are colorized. If only one chapter out of two is colorized this tag does NOT apply.

rewrite

Means that someone has filled in their own story in the blank speech bubbles, regardless of how the real story went. They are seldom considered to be of high quality but some people might still find them better than no story/kanji.

screenshots

Screenshots taken from a movie or television show, such as an anime or h-anime.

uncensored

Either published uncensored or later de-censored, the gallery is not censored at any point. NOT needed on Western galleries since it is expected.

Variables

Circle

Name of the circle(s) that published the manga.

Convention

Popular conventions like Comiket are where many doujinshi are released. For these, the tagging standard would be c#, with the # denoting exactly at which convention the release took place.

Mangaka

Name(s) of the artist(s) who drew major parts or all of the manga. Note that these names are often pseudonyms, but credited in the manga. Note that the names of writers (if they were credited solely as writers) are NOT to be added.

Original series

Names of the series that appear or are being parodied. Parodies should be obvious and relevant. For instance a cosplayer cosplaying a certain character.

Participant

Names of characters or people (such as the character cosplayers are cosplaying as) participating in the gallery. Note that only female characters apply unless the gallery contains males participating in yaoi or that become genderbent.

Character names are preferred in full and in their western order (given name(s) followed by family name; e.g. hinata hyuga). There are rare exceptions or cases of spelling still being decided. See here for a partial list of preferred names.

Note that the title of the work / gallery is NOT something to be tagged unless it is otherwise an already appropriate tag (e.g. if the title also happens to be the name of a participant, the original series, or the artist's name).

Know The Difference

Furry - Anthromorphic. Has human qualities mixed with those of an animal or creature of lore.
Bestiality - Known animal or creature of lore with no human qualities.
Monster - Does not closely resemble any known animal. Also any creature of lore that is non-organic.

Shemale - Penis and testicles present, no vagina present.
Futanari - Penis with a vagina still present (may not be visible).

Big Breasts - At least roughly the size of the character's head.
Huge Breasts - Twice the size of the character's head or larger.

Western - Pornographic drawn works from non-asian sources.
Non-H - Non-pornographic drawn works from asian sources.
Misc - Non-pornographic drawn works from non-asian sources, all 3D works regardless of source, and extremely mixed content-type galleries.

Cheating - A female having sex with someone other than her husband.
Netorare - A subsection of Cheating wherein the perspective of the husband is given to invoke sympathy or sadness.

Lactation - Breasts secrete or squirt milk on their own.
Milking - Breasts are actively being pulled in some way (direct mouth sucking, machine pumping, methodical tugging, etc.) to induce lactation.

Mind Control - Hypnosis or other techniques are used to take sexual advantage of someone by suppressing their will. May alter the victim's active personality although it is not their real one. Generally temporary in nature.
Mind Break - Conditioning someone to enjoy sexual activities against that person's will. Usually implied to be permanent. Often found along with the ahegao tag.
Corruption - Removing someone's purity of character and changing their personality to a more deviant one. May not be sexual. May be permanent or undone during a storyline.
Possession - An individual is directly controlled and having their mind suppressed by an outside entity who has taken over their body. Typically done by a ghost or spirit.

Stockings - Cover the legs up to around the knee area.
Pantyhose - Cover the genital area as well.

Inflation - The stomach area is expanded artificially via air, cum, slime, or other liquids. Sometimes caused by an enema. Often leads to a round (possibly balloon-like) belly with an appearance similar to being pregnant.
Pregnant - Expansion via fetus or eggs being inside the stomach area. May or may not be human. Sometimes leads to the birth tag if a live creature is involved.
Weight Gain - Expansion occurs naturally (although perhaps at an extraordinary metabolic rate) via food. Often leads to folds of fat forming and incurring the bbw tag.
Stomach Deformation - Part of stomach area appears to bulge, bend, or stretch unusually. Very often caused by a big penis or large insertion.

Categories

Category tags should only be used to change an improperly categorized gallery. Once it receives 100 power the category will switch based on the tag. If two tags are present (which there should be no need for) the one with the higher power will be used. Do not vote on these tags after they have served their purpose of re-categorizing.

Variables

Year

The release year alone isn't needed. It might be paired with the name of a monthly publication, but on its own it is completely useless.

Other

In general, do not tag something unless it has a fair amount of presence in the gallery. As an example, if it exists in 8 or more images in an 80-image gallery, it would suffice for tagging. 2 or less images and it should not be tagged at all even in a small gallery.

An exception to this exists for tags like lolicon and scat which only require 1 applicable image to be present in the gallery regardless of the gallery's size. Such exceptions are noted as such above.

Do not:

• Use real porn fetish tags such as hardcore on drawn content galleries.
• Tag a person's nationality such as korean, these tags are used specifically for languages only.
• Tag black and white as it is expected for many galleries. The only exception is for when it's referring to the creator's name. [1] [2] [3]
• Guess a character's name, there is a partial list that can assist you here.
• Use a language tag on an Image Set gallery unless a great majority of it (75%+) contains dialogue in that language.
• Tag animal names on furry galleries. For instance, dog on a gallery featuring dog furries. Unless an actual dog is involved sexually (and thus the bestiality tag applies) only the furry tag is needed.
• Vote up tags of a temporary nature like incomplete past too much power (anything over 10 is satisfactory enough). Should the tag become no longer applicable (e.g. the user completes the comic), the tag must be voted down.

What are slave tags?

Slave tags are tags that have been grouped together under one dominating master tag. Searches for these tags will yield results from all tags within the same group. (e.g. searching for "dildo" will result in all galleries tagged with "sex toys")

Why should I tag?

It helps people find the things they are looking for in the galleries.

Tagging earns you points toward a toplist position and the rewards that come with it. Scoring works like this: You score 3 points for adding a new tag and 1 point for voting on a tag. Tags that are contained within the gallery's name also only give 1 point each. You can score for up to 5 tags on any one gallery. New tags are given priority for score. So if you added 3 tags and voted on 2 or more existing ones you would get 11 points (3*3 + 2*1).

Known Issues

The search engine includes shorter strings in larger strings containing the term (e.g. "job" will give results including "blowjob" and "titjob"). Tags can also be grouped with other tags (titjob is part of the paizuri tag group). Thus the search results for one tag can include galleries containing the larger tags' grouped tags. Thus, in order to search for just galleries that use the shorter tag one must use an exclusionary search command.

For example, to find just rape galleries one must use a search phrase such as "rape -group".

Instances of this include:

• rape will include gangrape which is part of the group tag group.
• mother will include smother which is part of the asphyxiation tag group.
• guro will include ganguro which is part of the dark skin tag group.
• monster will include monster girl.

This also applies to demon.

• pregnant will include male pregnant which is part of the mpreg tag group.
• avatar will include avatar the last airbender.
• inflation will include breast inflation which is part of the breast expansion tag group.

This also applies to expansion.

• mimi will include nekomimi which is part of the catgirl tag group among many others including dog girl and fox girl.
• slave will include sex slave which is part of the mind break tag group.
• chinese will include chinese dress.
