Poison

Poison is one of the Tier 1 Spells in the HentaiVerse RPG system.

• Description: Inflicts Spreading Poison on one target, causing heavy damage over time and lowering its evade chance. Base cost is 15.

Poison causes:

• Periodic damage to the affected enemy over a set duration.
  • Since damage occurs at the end of an enemy's turn, an enemy can hit you on the turn it dies to Poison's damage.
• A 50% decrease in the MP and SP regeneration rate of the affected enemy.
• A reduced chance of missing the affected enemy with physical attacks.

Damage dealt by Poison is augmented by:

• Deprecating Proficiency.
• Magic rating.
• Target's Barrier Rating.
• The presence of Penetrated Armor on the target at the time of initial casting.
  • Note: The increased damage continues after the expiration of Penetrated Armor.

Damage dealt by Poison is NOT affected by:

• +% Magic Damage as granted by Equipment/Auras/Titles/etc.
• Interference.
  • Specifically interference under 25. Other Offensive spells are weakened directly by any interference.
    • Interference over 25 weakens poison due to the loss of Deprecating Proficiency.

The duration of Poison is affected by:

• Deprecating Proficiency.
• The number of ability points invested in Poison.
