Usage Guidelines

Tags are alphanumeric and only allow for spaces, periods, underscores, and hyphens. They must be at least 3 characters long (the 3d tag is an exception).

Some tags like futanari and yuri do not go together, they can only be tagged if they occur separately. e.g. if two girls having sex for a few pages followed by futanari has sex with a female for a few pages, both the yuri and futanari tags then apply.

Costume/clothing tags are in purple.

In general, do not tag something unless it has a fair amount of presence in the gallery. Existing in 8 images within an 80-image gallery for example, would be sufficient for tagging. Existing in 2 or less images means it should not be tagged at all even in a small gallery.

The exceptions to this are noted below in red.

Good Tags

Language

Any language except Japanese.: Should be tagged in their English equivalent (e.g. Spanish not Espanol).

Content/Fetishes

age progression: Person grows older during the course of the story.
age regression: Person grows younger during the course of the story.
alien: Any creature from outer space that shows intelligence. Use monster otherwise.
amputee: A person missing or separated from their limbs.; Slave tags.
anal: Penetrating the anus.
apron: A garment often worn for protection while cooking. Usually worn with nothing else for erotic purposes.
assjob: Rubbing a penis between buttcheeks. Not to be confused with anal.; Slave tags with notable synonyms buttjob and hotdogging.
bbw: Big beautiful women. Any fat women really. Not for real porn since it is prohibited.; Slave tags with notable synonyms chubby, curvy, and fat.
bdsm: A type of lifestyle where typically at least one partner is dominant at least one other is submissive.; Slave tags with notable synonyms domination, masochism, sadism, sadomasochism, and submission.
bestiality: Sex with animals. Not to be confused with animal-on-animal sex or furry-on-human sex. Galleries only need to contain one picture of this nature to be given this tag. Will send the gallery pining for the fjords.; Slave tags with notable synonym zoophilia.
big ass: Noticebly wide hips or large buttocks. Should be roughly double the size of the person's head or bigger.
big balls: Abnormally large testicles. A ball being at least as big as a hand suffices.
big breasts: Generally large breasts. Slightly opinionated, but if breasts are as big as a person's head they can safely be tagged with this.; Slave tags.
big clit: Abnormally large clitorises. Not to be confused with futanari even if it is used in a similar fashion.
big penis: Abnormally large penises. Roughly as big as the person's forearm or bigger.
big vagina: Abnormally large vaginas, sometimes just the lips.
birth: The act of a live creature being born.; Slave tags.
blindfold: An eye-cover meant to disable a person's sight. Often paired with bondage.
bloomers: Gym outfits for Japanese schoolgirls. Typically blue.; Slave tags.
blowjob: Sex involving the mouth. Must occur for more than 2-3 pages.; Slave tags.
body modification: Altering parts of the body in some artificial way, typically with technology. Not to be confused with transformation.
body painting: Should NOT be used for cases like war paint on a character's face. It must be that the body paint is done on a larger scale.
body writing: Various words or drawings made on the person's body, usually include derogatory terms such as "slut" or "cum dumpster".
bondage: The act and art of being tied up or bound for sexual pleasure.; Slave tags with notable synonyms ropes, chains and stockade.
breast expansion: Breasts growing for some reason or another. Not for age progression nor does it necessitate transformation.
bride: A woman dressed in a wedding gown.
bukkake: The act of being ejaculated on by more than one person.; Slave tags.
bunny girl: Bunny ears, occasionally also a puffy tail.; Slave tags with notable synonyms rabbit girl and usamimi.
catfight: Uncoordinated fighting between two females with some eroticism. Does not include wrestling.
catgirl: Look for the ears, and she often has a tail or other features to go with them.; Slave tags with notable synonyms neko and nekomimi.
cbt: Cock and ball torture. Acts meant to torture the male genital area in any way.; Slave tags.
chastity belt: A locking item of clothing designed to prevent sexual intercourse or masturbation. Often paired with bdsm.
cheating: Sex with someone else's wife.
cheerleader: Cheerleader uniforms, usually with short skirts and matching accessories.
collar: A garment that fastens around or frames the neck. Often worn during bdsm or human pet activities.; Slave tags with notable synonym leash.
conjoined: Two or more heads sharing the same body. May involve twins or transformation.
corruption: Corrupting someone's mind forcefully, robbing them of their purity. Not to be confused with mind break or mind control.
corset: A garment worn to hold and shape the torso, typically into an hourglass figure.
cowgirl: Has the ears, horns, and possibly a tail and cowbell. The outfit may have a Holstein pattern. Often paired with big breasts.; Slave tags with notable synonym ushimimi.
crossdressing: Usually men in women's clothing, but may also be the other way around. For the latter, it should only be tagged if there's a clear intent to make the woman dress like a guy e.g. for story reasons.; Slave tags with notable synonyms transvestite and trap.
cunnilingus: Licking the vagina heavily.
dark skin: A tanned girl. Not intended for black girls. NOT for tanlines.; Slave tags with notable synonyms ganguro and tanned.
deepthroat: A blowjob in which the penis enters the throat.
defloration: The act of losing one's virginity. Frequently includes minor bleeding.; Slave tags with notable synonyms first time and virgin.
demon: A male demon. Typically have horns, wings, and abnormal skin color.
demon girl: A female demon or any humanoid with a demon-like appearance such as draenei.; Slave tags with notable synonyms devil girl and succubus.
diaper: A type of underwear used to defecate or urinate in discreetly; often worn by infants. Usually paired with scat, urination, or age regression.
dick growth: Growing a penis when one did not have one at all, or growing one to an abnormally big penis.; Slave tags with notable synonym futanarization.
dicknipples: Nipples that appear or behave like penises.
dog girl: Slightly different than cat ears, often floppier or with rounder edges.; Slave tags with notable synonym inumimi.
double anal: Two penises inserted into the same anus.
double penetration: Usually means anal and vaginal sex at the same time. Also counts for any kind of situation with at least two penises or sex toys penetrating one person in different orifices. Usually paired with the group tag.
double vaginal: Two penises inserted into the same vagina.
drugs: Any intoxicant used to encourage promiscuity or pleasure.
eggs: The act of having eggs inside oneself and laying them. Not to be confused with birth but may invoke the pregnant tag.; Slave tags.
elf: Typically has pointed ears and a slender body.; Slave tags.
enema: Liquid injected into anus. May cause inflation.
exhibitionism: Nudity or daring stunts with a risk of getting caught by strangers. Also blatant exposure to strangers.; Slave tags with notable synonyms flashing, nudism, outdoors and public.
eye penetration: Sex in the eye or eye socket.; Slave tags.
facesitting: The act of sitting on or over another person's face. May be for partially smothering them or for oral contact with the anal/genital area. Sometimes part of femdom or bdsm activities.; Slave tags with notable synonym queening.
fairy: The very-small-with-wings kind.
farting: Visible flatulence.
femdom: Female sexual domination over a male. Must be consensual or it is reverse rape.
figure: Real life figurines or dolls. Belongs to the Misc category.
fingering: The use of finger insertion for creating sexual pleasure.
fisting: Insertion of fist, usually into vagina or anus.; Slave tags.
footjob: Using feet to sexually stimulate another person.; Slave tags with notable synonyms ashikoki and foot fetish.
forniphilia: Using humans as furniture.; Slave tags.
fox girl: More characterized by a large, bushy tail than the ears, but usually has both.; Slave tags with notable synonym kitsune.
furry: Anthromorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.; Slave tags with notable synonyms anthromorphism and yiff.
futanari: Girls with penises and tits. Usually have a vagina instead of a ballsack. If the sex is solely between one and a female do NOT tag yuri.; Slave tags with notable synonyms dickgirl and hermaphrodite.
gag: Any sex toy strapped and used to partially plug someone's mouth. Almost always involves bondage.; Slave tags.
gaping: A vagina or anus that is visibly stretched after sex. Often caused by large insertions.; Slave tags.
gender bender: A character changes gender from their usual one. A female becoming a futanari does NOT count. May invoke transformation if it is shown as a sequence and not a sudden change.; Slave tags.
giantess: Must tower over others, not just be tall. She should be able to hold normal-sized person in one hand.; Slave tags with notable synonym macrophile.
glasses: Reserved for those that are kept on during sex.; Slave tags with notable synonym meganekko.
glory hole: A hole in a wall is used to engage in sexual activity anonymously.
group: More than two people engaged in sex simultaneously. e.g. Two couples each having sex separately or a bunch of girls standing around does NOT count.; Slave tags with notable synonyms gangbang, harem, orgy and threesome.
growth: Growing taller. May lead to giantess. Does not necessitate transformation.
guro: Mutilated or dead humans engaged in sexual acts. This content is considered more offensive than most, so galleries only need to contain one picture of this nature to be given this tag.; Moderate blood or violence does not qualify.; Slave tags with notable synonyms gore and mutilation.
hairjob: Sex involving hair.
hairy: Specifically for pubic hair.; Slave tags with notable synonym unshaved.
hairy armpits: If they are shown at all and are not completely shaved they are often this.; Slave tags.
handjob: Masturbating another person's penis.
huge breasts: Abnormally large breasts. Also a slight matter of opinion, but try to use this only when the breasts seem unfathomably large, generally double the size of the person's head should suffice. Don't use both this and big breasts together, unless both kinds occur in fair amounts.; Slave tags.
human pet: Treating a human as though they were a pet animal. Often involves a collar and possibly bdsm.; Slave tags with notable synonyms pet play and training.
humiliation: Receiving arousal from the being or making others feel embarrassed or demeaned. Often paired with exhibitionism.
incest: Sex involving family relatives, even those not related by blood. Galleries only need to contain one picture of this nature to be given this tag. Will send the gallery pining for the fjords.
impregnation: The act of becoming pregnant. Should obviously be relevant to the story, and not just used whenever someone ejaculates inside a woman.; Slave tags.
inflation: The stomach area expands outward like a balloon. Often due to being filled with gasses, tentacles, or liquids.; Slave tags with notable synonym expansion.
interracial: Humans from two different racial groups having sex.
inverted nipples: Nipples that are retracted inside the breasts. Often brought out via stimulation or pulling.
invisible: An unseeable person (often male) is involved sexually. Often paired with rape.
kimono: Traditional Japanese dresses with large ribbons and varying patterns.
kunoichi: Female ninja.; Slave tags with notable synonym ninja.
lactation: Milk-squirting tits.; Slave tags with notable synonym milk.
large insertions: The use of larger-than-average sex toys or other objects.; Slave tags.
latex: Any clothing that is rubber or plastic-based, often skin-tight. Frequently paired with bdsm.; Slave tags with notable synonyms rubber and spandex.
lingerie: Undergarments meant to be erotic. Typically refers to nightwear.; Slave tags with notable synonym nightgown.

long tongue: Long enough to wrap around the circumference of a penis at least once.
maid: Maid uniform. Often consists of a dress or skirt of various lengths and an apron, but it may vary.
masturbation: Solo action.; Slave tags.
mature: Older people sexually involved. If you had to guess their age it should be at least 40. Not for real porn since it is prohibited.; Slave tags with notable synonyms milf and old.
miko: A shrine maiden; a young priestess. Usually wears a white shirt and loose pants or a long skirt.
mind break: Training someone to become a sex slave.; Slave tags with notable synonyms brainwashing and sex slave.
mind control: Forcing someone to do stuff on their own, but against their own will.; Slave tags
monster: Sex with pretty much anything that is not human, robot, demon, animal, or furry.; Slave tags
monster girl: Same as monster but portrayed as girls. This also includes demi-humans.; Slave tags.
multiple breasts: Any number higher than 2 on a single person.
multiple penises: More than one penis. Not for tentacle-style penises.
muscle: Very muscular, must be more than just six-pack abs.
nazi: Wearing any nazi paraphanelia.
necrophilia: Sex involving corpses or the dead in general.
netorare: Another person's wife being seduced away from him, done in a way to invoke the reader's jealousy. May also be the husband enjoying the situation.; Slave tags with notable synonym cuckold.
nipple fuck: Sex involving the breasts' nipples, usually direct penetration.; Slave tags.
nose hook: A hook used hold one's nostrils open by pulling them upwards. Very frequently paired with bondage.
nun: Wearing typically a black cloth robe with a hood.
nurse: Wearing the common outfit, usually has a cap.
office lady: A woman dressed in business attire.; Slave tags with notable synonym secretary.
onahole: An artificial vagina used to masturbate a penis.; Slave tags.
paizuri: Titfucking. Needs to occur for more than 2-3 pages.; Slave tags.
pantyhose: An often transparent undergarment for keeping a woman's legs and feet warm. Differs from stockings in that they are a single piece of clothing and are capable of covering the genital area as well.; Slave tags.
paperchild: Paper cut-outs of characters, frequently appearing as though they are interacting with the real world. Belongs to the Misc category.
parasite: A small organism that infects the host, often to induce sexual stimulation. Very rarely counts as possession.
pegging: A female fucking a male with a strap-on. NOT for futanari/shemale-on-male sex.
piercing: Any form of piercing besides those on the ears. Usually on the clit or nipples for rings to be placed.; Slave tags.
policewoman: Wears the uniform. Usually has a badge, pouches on their shirt, and a gun holster.; Slave tags.
possession: A victim is has their body taken over by an external mind. Not to be confused with mind control.; Slave tags.
pregnant: Sexual activities occur while pregnant. Should NOT be tagged if a girl is simply shown as pregnant in the last page or 2 of a story, nor is it to be used in place of impregnation.; Slave tags.
prolapse: Vaginal or anal walls distending out of their respective holes. Usually preceded by gaping.
prostate massage: Typically involves rubbing the anal wall near the testicles.; Slave tags.
prostitution: The act of soliciting sex in exchange for money. Typically involves dressing in certain provocative ways.
public use: A person remaining stationary and making themselves openly available for sex, often with multiple partners. Frequently involves them being used as a living toilet / urinal. May lead to body writing.; Slave tags with notable synonyms public toilet and human toilet.
rape: Forced or non-consensual sex.; Slave tags with notable synonyms forced,molestation, and violation.
reverse rape: A female forcing a male. Does not imply femdom.
rimjob: Orally stimulating the anus to cause sexual arousal.; Slave tags with notable synonyms ass licking and analingus.
robot girl: A mechanical female.; Slave tags with notable synonyms gynoid and android.

shemale: Transsexuals. People who want to be the opposite sex or has undergone a sex change. Not to be confused with futanari. If the sex is solely between one and a female do NOT tag yuri.; Slave tags with notable synonyms ladyboy and transsexual.
shotacon: Underage boys in sexual situations. Not to be confused with young men in general. Only appearance should be taken into account when tagging this. Galleries only need to contain one picture of this nature to be given this tag. Will send the gallery pining for the fjords.; Slave tags.
sleeping: Sex with someone who is not awake. May count as rape but varies from story to story.; Slave tags with notable synonym unconscious.
slime: Any gooey / gelatinous substances involved sexually. A slime-based creature incurs both this and the monster tag.
slime girl: A girl whose body is made entirely out of goo.
smell: The act of smelling strong, sensational smells.; Slave tags with notable synonyms sniffing and sweat.
spanking: Spanking someone's butt for sexual pleasure.; Slave tags.
squirting: A female ejaculating strongly.
stewardess: A female who works in airplanes.; Slave tags with notable synonym flight attendant.
stockings: An often transparent stretchy garment covering the foot and lower part of the legs but do not reach to the genital area.; Slave tags with notable synonyms thigh highs and knee socks.
stomach deformation: A solid object pushes against the stomach from the inside and creates a visible protrusion. Often caused by a large insertions or big penis.; Slave tags with notable synonym bulge.
strap-on: An attachable dildo. Very likely to be part of either yuri or pegging.; Slave tags.
swimsuit: Outfit worn while swimming to repel the water.; Slave tags with notable synonyms bathing suit, bikini, mizugi, and sukumizu.
tanlines: Lighter, visible lines, usually from clothes, after having become tanned. Does NOT invoke dark skin as well.; Slave tags.
teacher: A person involved is known as a teacher to the reader. If you cannot be certain do not tag with this.; Slave tags with notable synonym sensei.
tentacles: Long and flexible extensions of sexual pleasure. Comes in many forms. Often paired with rape.; Slave tags with notable synonym plant.
tickling: Touching the body in a manner that causes involuntary twitching movements or laughter. Usually done with a feather.
time stop: Time stops for everyone except for one character who takes sexual advantage of the situation. Also includes any time alterations done for the same reason.; Slave tags with notable synonym time manipulation.; Slave tags.
toddlercon: Babies in sexual situations. Only appearance should be taken into account when tagging this. Galleries only need to contain one picture of this nature to be given this tag. Will send the gallery pining for the fjords.; Slave tags.
torture: Torture techniques of various kinds being used. Usually with various uncommon sex toys, but may also coincide with more grotesque themes, like guro.; Slave tags.
transformation: A sequence showing a physical, biological change of some kind.; Slave tags.
triple penetration: Three insertions occuring to one person simalteneously. Combinations are often a double penetration with the remaining orifice also penetrated, or a double vaginal / double anal with the other rear orifice penetrated.
twins: A pair of relatively identical looking siblings having sex with someone. Very likely to invoke the group tag. Does not count as incest unless they have sex with each other.
unbirth: An archetype of vore, when a person or creature is being consumed, typically by a female's vagina. Essentially birth in reverse and thus does NOT necessitate it or pregnant.
underwater: Mostly or completely submerged in liquid during sex.
urethra insertion: Sex involving the tube from which urine exits the body.; Slave tags with notable synonym sounding.
urination: Peeing.; Slave tags with notable synonyms omorashi, piss, pee and watersports.
vampire: Has pointy teeth and drinks blood. Not to be confused with demon or demon girl.
vomit: Puking.; Slave tags.
vore: Someone is generally being swallowed whole, or is enveloped inside another person's or creature's body to be consumed.; Slave tags.
voyeurism: Spying on people engaged in sexual behavior including stripping or going to the bathroom.; Slave tags with notable synonym peeping.
waitress: A uniform similar to a maid's but with less formality and more color.
weight gain: Getting fatter via ingesting food. Very likely to incur bbw.; Slave tags.
whip: A tool for lashing or striking an animal or a person to inflict a moderate amount of pain. Highly likely to involve bdsm.
wolf girl: Pointed ears and a bushy tail.
wrestling: Full-bodied fighting between at least two females involving grappling and holding.
x-ray: Internal organs visible at points, usually during intercourse.; Slave tags.
yaoi: Sex between at least two males. Not for non-h material.; Slave tags.
yuri: Sex between at least two females. Not for futanari/shemale-on-female sex or for non-h material.

Real Porn Fetishes

asian: Of Asian descent. Should ONLY be used in Cosplay galleries.; Do not use on Asian Porn galleries, it is expected.
blonde: Blonde hair.
brunette: Dark hair. Do not use this for Asian girls as it is too common.
hardcore: Explicit depictions of sexual acts such as vaginal or anal penetration.
lesbians: Sex between two females. Just being near each other or kissing is not enough. Use yuri for the drawn kind.
non-nude: Galleries where no nipples or sexual orifices are shown. Non-nude Asian Porn galleries are forbidden unless they also include a fetish such as bondage.
redhead: Red hair.
upskirt: Clear view up a woman's skirt. Way too common in manga to use it there.

Gallery Descriptors

3d: Usually computer-generated imagery. Not a tag for real porn. Belongs to the Misc category.; Slave tags.
animated: For galleries that contain images with several frames.; Slave tags.
artbook: A collection of images and graphics of a given topic from a published book. Not for unofficial art collections.; Slave tags.
full color: All the pages are colorized. If only one chapter out of two is colorized use partial color.; Does NOT apply to CG sets or 3D galleries since it is expected.; Slave tags.
how to: An instructional series of images on how to draw things such as faces or bodies.
novel: Consists mostly of pages containing plain text with no illustrations.
partial color: A series of pages are colorized but not all of the pages are. Usually at least 1/3 of the gallery.
rewrite: Someone has filled in their own story in the blank speech bubbles, regardless of how the real story went. They are seldom considered to be of high quality but some people might still find them better than no story/kanji.
screenshots: Screenshots taken from a movie or television show, such as an anime or h-anime.
sketch: Unfinished or rough freehand drawings.
translated: Any translation from the original language.; Slave tags.
uncensored: Either published uncensored or later de-censored, the gallery is not censored at any point. NOT needed on Western galleries since it is expected.; Slave tags.
wallpapers: Images that are sized appropriately for use as desktop wallpapers. Resolutions should be 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x720, etc.

Variables

Circle: Name of the circle(s) that published the manga.
Convention: Popular conventions like Comiket are where many doujinshi are released. For these, the tagging standard would be c#, with the # denoting exactly at which convention the release took place.
Mangaka: Name(s) of the artist(s) who drew major parts or all of the manga. Note that these names are often pseudonyms, but credited in the manga. Note that the names of writers (if they were credited solely as writers) are NOT to be added.
Original series: Names of the series that appear or are being parodied. Parodies should be obvious and relevant. For instance a cosplayer cosplaying as a certain character.
Participant: Names of characters or people (such as the character cosplayers are cosplaying as) participating in the gallery. Note that only female characters apply unless the gallery contains males participating in yaoi or that become genderbent. Original characters (non-parodies) that do not exist outside of their own works do not need to be tagged.; Character names are preferred in full and in their western order (given name(s) followed by family name; e.g. hinata hyuga). There are rare exceptions or cases of spelling still being decided. See Character Tags for a partial list of preferred names.

Know The Difference

Furry - Anthromorphic. Has human qualities mixed with those of an animal or creature of lore.
Bestiality - Known animal or creature of lore with no human qualities.
Monster - Does not closely resemble any known animal. Also any creature of lore that is non-organic.

Shemale - Penis and testicles present, no vagina present.
Futanari - Penis with a vagina still present (may not be visible).

Big Breasts - At least roughly the size of the character's head.
Huge Breasts - Twice the size of the character's head or larger.

Western - Pornographic drawn works from non-asian sources.
Non-H - Non-pornographic drawn works from asian sources.
Misc - Non-pornographic drawn works from non-asian sources, all 3D works regardless of source, and extremely mixed content-type galleries.

Cheating - A female having sex with someone other than her husband.
Netorare - A subsection of Cheating wherein the perspective of the husband is given, often to invoke sympathy or sadness.

Lactation - Breasts secrete or squirt milk on their own.
Milking - Breasts are actively being pulled in some way (direct mouth sucking, machine pumping, methodical tugging, etc.) to induce lactation.

Mind Control - Hypnosis or other techniques are used to take sexual advantage of someone by suppressing their will. May alter the victim's active personality although it is not their real one. Generally temporary in nature.
Mind Break - Conditioning someone to enjoy sexual activities against that person's will. Usually implied to be permanent. Often found along with the ahegao tag.
Corruption - Removing someone's purity of character and changing their personality to a more deviant one. May not be sexual. May be permanent or undone during a storyline.
Possession - An individual is directly controlled and having their mind suppressed by an outside entity who has taken over their body. Typically done by a ghost or spirit.

Stockings - Cover the legs up to around the knee area.
Pantyhose - Cover the genital area as well.

Inflation - The stomach area is expanded artificially via air, cum, slime, tentacles, or other liquids. Sometimes caused by an enema. Often leads to a round (possibly balloon-like) belly with an appearance similar to being pregnant.
Pregnant - Expansion via fetus or eggs being inside the stomach area. May or may not be human. Sometimes leads to the birth tag if a live creature is involved.
Weight Gain - Expansion occurs naturally (although perhaps at an extraordinary metabolic rate) via food. Often leads to folds of fat forming and incurring the bbw tag.
Stomach Deformation - Part of stomach area appears to bulge, bend, or stretch unusually. Very often caused by a big penis, large insertion, or tentacles.

Bad Tags

Note: This list does not include all bad tags, but some examples to help illustrate the general idea.

Languages

Japanese: It is expected.

Content/Fetishes

areola: Not descriptive enough.
ass: See above.
Eye colors: No one cares.
lesbians: While it can be used for real porn, stick to yuri for drawn content.

Variables

Publishers: Not to be confused with circles, they do not produce the material. Some exceptions apply if there is no other names that can be used to identify a work.

Title: The title of a gallery is NOT something to be tagged unless it is otherwise an already appropriate tag (e.g. if the title also happens to be the name of a participant, original series, or artist's name).
Translators: Their names are not necessary, they do not produce the material.
Writers: Not to be confused with the artist(s).
Year: The release year alone isn't needed. It might be paired with the name of a monthly publication, but on its own it is completely useless.

Other

Do not:

Use real porn fetish tags, such as hardcore, on drawn content galleries.
Tag a person's nationality such as korean, these tags are for indicating languages only.
Tag black and white as it is expected for many galleries. The only exception is for when it's referring to the creator's name. [1] [2] [3]
Guess a character's name or use just their first name. There is a list that can assist you with names here.
Use a language tag on an Image Set gallery unless a great majority of it (75%+) contains dialogue in that language.
Tag animal names on anything that is not in conjunction with the bestiality tag. This includes furry content.
Use tags like mother on anything that is not in conjunction with the incest tag. This includes women giving birth, women who happen to have children, or for "milf"s.
Vote up tags of a temporary nature past too much power (anything over 10 is satisfactory enough). These include incomplete, out of order, and ongoing. Should the tag become no longer applicable (e.g. the user completes the comic) the tag must be voted down.
Use tags like not futanari. If you disagree with a tag vote it down and post about it in the forums here.
Use the cosplay tag when characters in drawn works are cosplaying as other characters.
Combine tags (e.g. "furry yaoi"). Each tag should be separated by a comma. This also includes artist/circle names or character pairings (e.g. "naruto x hinata").

What are slave tags?

Slave tags are tags that have been grouped together under one dominating master tag. Searches for these tags will yield results from all tags within the same group. (e.g. searching for "dildo" will result in all galleries tagged with "sex toys")

Why should I tag?

It helps people find the things they are looking for in the galleries.

Tagging earns you points toward a toplist position and the rewards that come with it. Scoring works like this: You score 3 points for adding a new tag and 1 point for voting on a tag. Tags that are contained within the gallery's name also only give 1 point each. You can score for up to 5 tags on any one gallery. New tags are given priority for score. So if you added 3 tags and voted on 2 or more existing ones you would get 11 points (3*3 + 2*1).

Known Issues

Some artist/circle names are too short (less than 3 characters) or may have been grouped or blacklisted for various reasons. In these cases use "artist {name}" or "circle {name}".

The search engine includes shorter strings in larger strings containing the term (e.g. "job" will give results including "blowjob" and "titjob"). Tags can also be grouped with other tags (titjob is part of the paizuri tag group). Thus search results for one tag can include galleries containing the larger tags' grouped tags. In order to search for just galleries that use the shorter tag use an exclusionary search command.

For example, to find just rape galleries use a search phrase such as "rape -group".

Instances of this include:

rape will include gangrape which is part of the group tag group.
mother will include smother which is part of the asphyxiation tag group.
guro will include ganguro which is part of the dark skin tag group.
monster will include monster girl.

This also applies to demon, robot, and slime.

pregnant will include male pregnant which is part of the mpreg tag group.
avatar will include avatar the last airbender.
inflation will include breast inflation which is part of the breast expansion tag group.

This also applies to expansion.

mimi will include nekomimi which is part of the catgirl tag group.

Results will also include others like dog girl and fox girl.

slave will include sex slave which is part of the mind break tag group.
chinese will include chinese dress.
insert will include large insertions and urethra insertion.
