Known Bugs

This article is for any known errors in E-Hentai that are believed to be non-intentional.

Forums

• Users with underscores in their name cannot be ignored or searched by nickname.
  • Ignored users going through a name change that involves an underscore can be un-ignored as the form link uses their forum UID, but cannot be directly added back.
  • Workarounds:
    • Use the Profile Options menu in the User Control Panel.
    • Add &mid=user_id to the search query (where user_id is the member's user ID) for advanced searches.
• Users with at least one moderation privilege will throw an error when ignored, but will still be correctly added to the user's ignore list.
  • Global moderators and the forum administrator are not affected by this bug.
• Forum suspensions prevent logging out.
• The banner for new Catgirl users will sometimes reflect the previous donation level instead of the default banner.
  • Users directly donating to this level might not have any visible donation star or banner.
  • Forum titles and username colors will still reflect the actual level; privileges are not affected.
    • This can be fixed by designing and requesting a custom banner.

Galleries

• The My Archives link is missing/does not work. Intended?
• Galleries cannot change folders via the Modify UI once published, only through the My Galleries UI.
• Expanding collapsed folders in the My Galleries UI can cause them to have "Delete" links even if they are not deletable.
• Galleries do not update their category on the My Galleries UI even after being reclassed by a tag.
• It is possible to leave the default comment message ("Enter your comments here, then hit Post Comment. If the last comment posted is yours, this will be appended to that post.")
• Comments downvoted to exactly -50 do not get hidden. Intended?
  • This is believed to be a bug because -100 will still work as intended.
• Tags that exceed 100 characters are truncated to exactly 100 characters (99 if the 100th character is a space).
  • This is expected, but does not give a warning message and should be taken into consideration while namespacing extremely large tags.

HentaiVerse

• The Better Drain ability does nothing.
• Bonus damage from ranks does not increase magic damage.
• All(?) skills count as spells for the recast hotkey R.
• The forge still shows upgrade requirements on stats that have reached max upgrades (e.g. 50/50).
