Notes

• For re-printings of tankoubons use the printing number as an indicator at the end; e.g. [8han] / [8版]
• Multiple titled stories (e.g. as released by a translator) are connected via a plus sign

Priority

In general it is recommended to maximize the use of a rename petition as much as possible. Re-renaming takes increasing amounts of mod power and communication.

High Priority

These are always accepted even if only 1 is being made.

• Adding missing information such as translators, conventions, special indicators, etc.
  • Adding whatever was censored by a maru in the Romanized field
• Fixing/removing incorrect information
  • Fixing misspellings (not counting spacing and punctuation)
  • Fixing chapter count
  • Removing convention indicators for digital releases as well as adding [Digital] / [DL版]
• Fixing full-width characters in the Romanized field; Ｎｕｄｅ -> Nude
• Changing a rewrite to its unique formatting; [Touma Ran] Bust Jack [English] [Fraction] -> Bust Jack [English] [Rewrite] [Fraction]

Low Priority

These are not needed but are welcomed if done during more than 1 change.

• Fixing J conventions; (CR30) -> (Cレヴォ30)
• Fixing multiple spaces or punctuation
• Fixing parody to match the tag; (Evangelion) -> (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
  • (Touhou) -> (Touhou Project) / (東方) -> (東方Project)
• Adding [Incomplete] if the tag is already present
• Removing extraneous information; (Complete) / (同人誌) / (エロ) / (Non-H) / (Original) / (Japanese) / etc.
• Changing 4+ creator names into (Various)
• Fixing the romanization of kanji representing numbers; 六 = Six -> Roku
• Replacing translator individual name with group name

Bottom Priority

These should not be done unless more than 1 change occurs.

• Removing leading zeroes; COMIC1☆04 -> COMIC1☆4
• Fixing capitalization; ch. 2 -> Ch. 2
• Fixing a single space or punctuation; Vol.02 -> Vol. 02
• Expanding truncated language indicators when the gallery is already tagged; [ENG] -> [English]
• Removing languages not in their English name; [German/Deutsch] -> [German]
• Changing a Japanese chapter indicator from 章 to 話
• Adding missing symbols to the Japanese field

Never Change

These should never be done as they have no impact or merit.

• Changing parody to beyond the tag; (Sailor Moon) -> (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon)
  • (Infinite Stratos) -> (IS <Infinite Stratos>)
  • (とらぶる) -> (To LOVEる -とらぶる-)
  • (ナルト) -> (NARUTO -ナルト-)
  • (咲) -> (咲-Saki-)
• Changing a Japanese parody name to stylized English if already tagged; (フェイト/ステイナイト) -> (Fate/stay night)
• Adding information to rewrites beyond the normal formatting
  • Adding/fixing the Japanese field for a rewrite (unless it erroneously indicated a translation)
• Adding [Out of Order] or other non-standard special indicators
• Changing the order of parodies/artists/circles
• Changing commas or curly braces
