The bounty system is an incentive system where a user can post a bounty for things, such as a wanted gallery or an image identification, in exchange for currency as a reward. The currencies that are available for use in the bounty system are GP, credits, and Hath.

Posting Bounties

  • First, a user must fill in a bounty headline to appear as an entry in the Bounty Overview list.
  • Next, a detailed bounty description is filled to provide information of what is wanted from the bounty.
  • After the description, it is optional to upload an image (.jpg/.gif/.png) to help specify what is wanted.
  • Next, the user must contribute a reward for a successful completion of the bounty. The reward can be in either GP, credits, Hath, or a combination of two or all three.
    • Depending on what currency is being offered, the minimum base reward must be at least 10,000 GP, 1,000 C, and/or 3 Hath.
    • Rewards can be later added by the bounty poster or any other users to add extra incentive to the bounty. The additional amounts must be at least 5,000 GP, 500 C, and/or 1 Hath.
  • After that, a minimum bounty hunter rank can be specified to accept/claim the bounty, from highest to lowest(A, B, C, Unranked, D, E, F), which the rank is based on successful bounty claims. The recommended bounty hunter rank level is D.
  • The last step is specifying what media is wanted for the bounty, which can be one to all of the following.
    • Galleries posted to the E-Hentai Galleries System
    • Direct (no limitation/registration/etc) archive download
    • Archive download through RapidShare, Megarotic and similar
    • BitTorrent files at a public, non-reg tracker (must be seeded)

Bounty Accept / Claim

  • A user can accept a bounty to notify the bounty poster that the user is searching for the bounty contents or add additional information that the bounty poster may not know about.
  • A user can claim a bounty for the reward, given that the user provided what the bounty poster was looking for.
  • After the claim, the bounty poster can decide whether or not it matches the criteria set by the bounty poster, which can then accept or reject the claim.
  • If the bounty poster does not decide within 7 days after the user claimed the bounty, the user can force accept the reward. All claims are irreversible, so the bounty poster must check the claims carefully.
  • Bounties can be automatically be cancelled if there are no claims or additional rewards in the past 30 days, which the rewards will be returned. There will be a warning sent to the bounty poster 3 days before the expiry of the bounty.
  • Accept claims must have some information entered, as blank accepts claims are rejected.

Top Bounties

There is also a top bounties page, showing the top six highest bounties awards offered. Its value is measured by 10,000 GP = 1000 C = 1 Hath

Hunter Ranks

The system will calculate a Rank for every qualifying Hunter, depending on the number of accepted and rejected claims the Hunter had made. Every Hunter starts out as Unranked. After getting 5 accepts with 2 or fewer rejects, an Unranked hunter will move up to Rank C. In addition to counting accepted claims, a high accept:reject ratio is required for the higher Ranks.

The ranks are ordered as such:

  • Rank A (at least 50 accepted claims and at least ten times as many accepted claims as rejected claims)
  • Rank B (at least 20 accepted claims and at least five times as many accepted claims as rejected claims)
  • Rank C (at least 5 accepted claims and at least twice as many accepted claims as rejected claims)
  • Unranked
  • Rank D (more than 2 rejects, or more accepted claims than rejected claims)
  • Rank E (more than 10 rejects, and more rejected claims than accepted claims)
  • Rank F (more than 25 rejects, and more than twice as many rejected claims as accepted claims)

A limit exists on how many bounties from the same poster a hunter is credited with towards his rank in order to prevent abuses.
