All of the standard translation protocols apply to all Chinese translation works, with the following additions:
- Your translated text needs to be written in Traditional and Standard Chinese. If you find difficulties in swapping the characters from Simplified into Traditional, you may consider relying on machine translation services like Google Translate.
- Adhere to the original English page formatting as much as possible. For instance, if the original text didn't highlight [XXX] in red, DO NOT do that in the CN version even if you think it improves readability. This applies to graphs and images as well.
- Some established Chinese terms should always be retained, even if it deviates from the original English meaning. For instance, terms like "Mod Power (MP) <-> 願力". Even though one can argue that it is not the most accurate translation, such terms should be retained for consistency purposes.
