Upgrading
Soulbound equipment may be upgraded to increase the number of Charm Points available and improve the base stats. Every piece of gear has an upgrade tier shown as 3 numbers displayed on the on the equipment modification page {example image}. Those numbers represent:
- Current Upgrade Level
- Current Item World Level
- Max Potential (Level Cap)
The number of times a piece of equipment can be upgraded and the materials required is determined by the quality (see below). The upgrade level cap is directly tied to the number of cleared Item Worlds, and unlocking the full potential of the equipment requires reaching max Item World Level. Equipment is considered "Max Forged" once ever upgrade level has been purchased {example image}.
Each upgrade level increases all base stats by 1% (2% for Physical and Magical attack) and increases the available Charm Points by 1.
