Axe

Axe (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)
Stat Min Max Other
Weapon Damage Type Slashing
Attack Damage Multiplier 23.4% 56.68% (rare above 40%, very rare above 50%)
Attack Accuracy Bonus 6.44% 34.04% (rare over 20%, very rare over 30%)
Attack Critical Bonus 1.21% 8.7% (rare over 6%, very rare over 7%)
Burden 10.39 13.87
Interference 3.5 (semi-rare under 4.5, very rare under 4)
(0.7 - 1.4 - battlecaster)
10.5
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 0.93 21.4 (semi-rare over 10, rare over 15, very rare over 20) 2 (Str, Dex)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - chance 11% (presum. 10% lowest) 24% (rare over 20%, very rare over 23%, presumed 25% max)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - duration 1 6 (even 6 seem only semi-rare at lv. 200+)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - value 260 520 (400+ are rare, 500+ are very rare)
Some very high bleed exquisites (possibly pre-nerf?): 546, 597, 728 (!)

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis

Battlecaster examples: Fair Prism Axe of the Battlecaster, Fine Prism Axe of the Battlecaster, Superior Mithril Axe of the Battlecaster, Average Steel Axe of the Battlecaster

Comments: likely the best Bleed Wound values for 1H weapon, axes seem to be the 1H BW weapon of choice. Bleed is useful versus mob as well as verus bosses and higher legandaries, so high proc, bleed value and duration are of utmost importance. Three high primary (bleed-related, in this case) values make it an excellent axe, a combination of two and one highs and averages - a very good one, anything below - probably not worth it. Having other values at high levels if of course nice, too.

Dagger

Dagger (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)
Stat Min Max Other
Weapon Damage Type Slashing
Attack Damage Multiplier 16.01% 45.58% (over 25% seems rare, over 35%, very rare)
Attack Accuracy Bonus 19.32% 48.76% (over 35% seems rare, over 40%, very rare)
Attack Critical Bonus 1.21% 7.61% (over 5% seems rare, over 6%, very rare)
Parry Chance 7.8% 19.92% (as of nimble daggers are not that rare, only over 17% seems rare, and over 18%, very rare
Burden 4.85 8.32
Interference 3.5 (less than 5 is rare, less than 4 is very rare)
(0.7 - of Battlecaster)
7.7
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 0.93 13.96 (over 5 is rare, for the raccoon, over 9 is rare) 2 (Dex, Agi)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - chance 10% 24% (over 20% is rare, over 23% is very rare) (presumed 25% max))
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - duration 1 6 (over 4 is rare, over 5 is very rare)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - value 52 312 (over 208 is rare, over 260 is very rare)

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis. Of focus will have extra stats, but not PAB boosts, nor will they have the low interference bonus.

Battlecaster examples: Average Sapphire Dagger of the Battlecaster

Of focus examples: Superior Prism Dagger of Focus, Fine Prism Dagger of Focus, (Another) Fine Prism Dagger of Focus,

Ethereal examples: Exquisite Ethereal Iron Dagger of the Nimble

Comments: daggers are rarely used, as rapiers offer similar parry functionality (with perhaps a 2-3% less common average and 1-2 less common average interference), with a much more useful Processed Armor proc; while Axes offer a better damage output and a higher Bleeding Wound proc.

Rapier

Rapier (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)

Attack Critical Bonus 1.44% 7.61% (very rare above 4%)
Parry Chance 5.2% 13.86% (very rare above 10%)
Either pre nerf or high-end nimble: 18.19% (assumed p-n)
19.06%; confirmed pre-nerf (not nimble!): 19.93%
Burden 6.93 (rare under 8) 12.48
Interference 3.49 (very rare below 4)
(0.7 - of Battlecaster)
9.1
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 0.93 13.02 (anything above 4 or 5 seems very rare) 2 (Dex, Agi)
Hit Proc: Penetrated Armor - chance 10% 25% (rare over 20%, very rare for over 23%, presumed 25% max))
Hit Proc: Penetrated Armor - duration 1 5 (rare for 4, very rare for 5) (6)

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis

Battlecaster examples: Fine Emerald Rapier of the Battlecaster, Fine Prism Rapier of the Battlecaster

Ethereal examples: Superior Ethereal Titanium Rapier

Review: the weapon of choice for Penetrated Armor proc, the most important attributes of a rapier are its proc chance and duration, as well as parry, than followed by the remaining values. Rapier's primary function is to proc the PA, to weaken bosses and higher legendaries; note that PA will be wasted on regular mobs on low-normal difficulty. They are usually used offhand (dual wielding, offhand weapons receive parry bonus, too!) and the parry attribute is useful against regular mobs. Rapiers with three high primary attributes are considered great, with two - very good, ones are rarely considered above average. Other attributes are a nice bonus if high, but are rarely payed much attention too.

Wakizashi

Wakizashi (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)
Stat Min Max Other
Weapon Damage Type Slashing
Attack Damage Multiplier 17.24% 27.1%
Attack Accuracy Bonus 21.26% 47.84%
Attack Critical Bonus 1.69% 5.07%
Parry Chance 8.66% 19.92
Burden 4.85 8.32
Interference 4.9
(0.7 - battlecastser)
8.39
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 0.92 17.68 2 (Dex, Agi)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - chance 10% 24% (presumed 25% max)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - duration 1 5
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - value 52 312

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis

Battlecaster examples: (Average Prism Wakizashi of the Battlecaster)

Comments: rarely used on its own, can be paired with a katana for the Nitchen Ichiryu fighting style. Likely, the most important stat of a wakizashi is its parry chance, as its damage output is going to be secondary to katana. In fact, as it will have smaller bleed than the katana, low proc chance is desired, as you don't want your wakizashi bleed to overwrite your stronger katana one. Some may argue that any bleed is better than none, though. Either way, wakizashi seems to have only one primary stat - parry; everything else is secondary - nice if high, but it is the parry that makes or breakes the waki.

Estoc

Estoc (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)
Stat Min Max Other
Weapon Damage Type Piercing
Attack Damage Multiplier 35.74% 81.31% (very rare above 70%)
Attack Accuracy Bonus 0.92% 17.48% (rare for over 6.5%, very rare above 12%%)
Attack Critical Bonus 3.86% 10.87% (rare above 6%, very rare above 8%)
Burden 22.18 (rare under 25) 34.65
Interference 8.4 (rare below 10, very rare below 9)
(2.09 - of Battlecaster)
19.6
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 0.94 21.39 for STR (rare over 10), 8.37 for DEX (rare over 4) 2 (Str, Dex)
Hit Proc: Penetrated Armor - chance 15% (presumed 10% min) 25% (rare over 20%, very rare for over 23%)
Hit Proc: Penetrated Armor - duration 3 (presumed 1 min) 7 (for prisms, 6 is rare, 7 is very rare)

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis

Battlecaster examples: Fair Emerald Estoc of the Battlecaster

Ethereal: Fine Ethereal Sapphire Estoc of the Ox

Comments: rarely used. While attack damage bonus is slightly higher than with a longsword, attack accuracy is lower, and Bleeding Wound is usually more useful than Penetrated Armor. Both are often combined in a dual wield style, as 1H rapiers are a PA weapon of choice, offering slightly lower attack damage mod for a higher attack chance mod, and lower interference. Rapier's proc duration seems slightly shorter (max of 6, with max of 7 on estoc), but the difference is rather negligible.

Katana

Katana (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)
Stat Min Max Other
Weapon Damage Type Slashing
Attack Damage Multiplier 34.49% 70.22%
Attack Accuracy Bonus 18.4% 50.6%
Attack Critical Bonus 3.87% 10.15%
Burden 22.18 34.65
Interference 9.8
(1.4 - 2.1 - battlecaster)
18.2
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 2.78 18.6 3 (Str, Dex, Agi)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - chance 15% (presum. 10% lowest) 25%
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - duration 2 (presumed 1 min?) 7
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - value 261 520

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis.

Battlecaster examples: Fine Prism Katana of the Battlecaster, Average Sapphire Katana of the Battlecaster

Comments: rarely used on its own, can be paired with a wakizashi for the Nitchen Ichiryu fighting style. Seems strictly better than longswords (see longsword comments), but rare drops make it technically easier to obtain a better longsword drop than a katana drop.

Longsword

Longsword (all values scaled to 300, confirmed pre-nerf values are bolded)
Stat Min Max Other
Weapon Damage Type Slashing
Attack Damage Multiplier 33.27% 71.46% (over 60% seems rare, over 65%, very rare)
Attack Accuracy Bonus 5.22% 26.69% (over 10% is rare, over 20%, very rare)
Attack Critical Bonus 4.1% 8.58% (over 6.5% is rare, over 7.5%, very rare)
Burden 20.79 33.26
Interference 7
(0.7 - 2.1 - battlecaster) (under 11 is rare, under 9 is very rare)
19.59
Primary Attribute Bonuses (value, number of bonuses) 1.86 16.74 (over 8 is rare, over 12, very rare) 2 (Str, Dex)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - chance 15% (presum. 10% lowest) 25% (rare over 20%, very rare over 23%)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - duration 2 7 (at prism levels, 6 are rare, 7 are very rare)
Hit Proc: Bleeding Wound - value 312 521 (over 469 is rare, over 500, very rare)

Note: of battlecaster will have extra stats: Magic Damage Multiplier, Magic Attack Accuracy, boosts to Int and Wis

Battlecaster examples: Fair Mithril Longsword of the Battlecaster, Average Mithril Longsword of the Battlecaster, Average Prism Longsword of the Battlecaster , Fine Prism Longsword of the Battlecaster , Average Prism Longsword of the Battlecaster, Average Prism Longsword of the Battlecaster , Average Prism Longsword of the Battlecaster

Ethereal: Fine Ethereal Platnium Longsword of Slaughter, Fine Ethereal Titanium Longsword of Slaughter, Superior Ethereal Ruby Longsword of Slaughter, Fine Ethereal Prism Longsword of Slaughter, Superior Ethereal Diamond Longsword of Balance, Fine Ethereal Prism Longsword of the Ox

Legendary: Legendary Sapphire Longsword

Comment: a relatively popular 2H weapon; compared to its most popular 1H equivalent, longswords have about 20% higher damage output, higher minimum (bot not maximum) crit bonus, about 2x the weight penalties, and +1 proc duration. Compared to katanas, they have lower (halved) accuracy bonuses, possibly slightly lower crit bonus, and one less attribute bonus. This suggests that a katana is strictly better than a longsword.
