Shadow Veil grants you an additive increase to your "evasion". Evasion increases magical dodging. Ergo, Shadow Veil increases magic dodging. At least that is my reasoning. I'm not exactly sure how Shadow Veil applies its evasion. It hypothetically could check if the attack is physical or not THEN add to your evasion.
