* Can be useful as a replacement to Gems.

* The round's monsters have names that serve as possible answers to the question.
* Targeting and attacking the correct one before hitting any other monsters results in a bonus loot drop at the end of the round.
* The primary target of an attack is what counts as the player's answer, so AoE attacks and misses are fine so long as they targeted the correct monster.
* Answering wrong results in no drops for the round, but a bonus drop if correct.
* Rewards players that pay attention. Can also be useful as an anti-bot measure.

* Immune to all debuffs.
* At 100% mana it will cast "Golden Mana Burn" which drains the player's mana by 50% of their total MP.

Monster Ideas
I came up with some new monsters ideas. Note that these do not appear in the Arena.
Potion Monster - There's a monster holding a potion! Kill it for a bit of relief!
- Spawns along with other monsters.
- Upon its death the player receives a moderate restoration of either SP/MP/HP or a small amount of each.
- Can be useful as a replacement to Gems.
Quiz Monsters - Attack the correct monster first and win a prize!
- Spawn without other monsters. 2-5 of them will spawn.
- A question is asked via the Combat Log.
- The round's monsters have names that serve as possible answers to the question.
- Targeting and attacking the correct one before hitting any other monsters results in a bonus loot drop at the end of the round.
- The primary target of an attack is what counts as the player's answer, so AoE attacks and misses are fine so long as they targeted the correct monster.
- Answering wrong results in no drops for the round, but a bonus drop if correct.
- Rewards players that pay attention. Can also be useful as an anti-bot measure.

- All monsters start with their health depleted to just above the agitated threshold (21%-25%).
Treasure Monster - A strange treasure chest approaches! Strike hard and fast!

Golden Monster - A rare golden monster! Defeat it before it reaches full mana for a reward!
- Spawns alone. Starts with 0 mana.
- Has no weaknesses.
- Immune to all debuffs.
- At 100% mana it will cast "Golden Mana Burn" which drains the player's mana by 50% of their total MP.
- If it is killed before it can 100% mana there is a guaranteed drop; otherwise there are no drops, credits, or EXP rewarded.
Shiny Monster - One monster seems hard to hit, might be because it's carrying money!
- Spawns along with other monsters.
- Has high evasion/resistance.

- Spawns along with other monsters.
- Has higher defensive stats.
- +5% bonus to base chance for an equipment drop.
Jumbo Monster - Woah, it's huge! Defeat it before it defeats you!
- Spawns alone. Starts with 0 mana.
- Has high health and no weaknesses.
- Immune to all debuffs besides elemental statuses.
- At 100% mana it launches a deadly shock-wave attack that cannot miss and is a guaranteed crit.
- 150+ players only.
Charging-Up Monster - It's taken a strange pose and appears to be powering up for something! Defeat it fast!
- Spawns alone. Starts with 0 mana.
- Has high health and no weaknesses.
- Immune to all debuffs besides elemental statuses.
- At 100% mana it will cast "Super Speed" on itself which gives it +300% action speed for a dozen turns. This can break the cap.
- 200+ players only.
