Gallery ratings are a subjective gallery scoring system, based on user input, that values a gallery's worth on a scale from 0.5 to 5 stars.

There are currently 8 categories in which users can compete for the top positions. Each category is further separated into Day, Month, Year, and All Time sub-categories.

===Gallery Toplists===
This lists the most viewed galleries. To be featured on this list users simply need to [[Making Galleries|upload galleries]] and for many users to view them. Users receive points for each viewed picture up to a maximum per gallery and also for each [[Doggie Bag]] download requested on their gallery. A "visit" is counted once per visitor per half hour per gallery.

Users can view what kind of activity their galleries are receiving by going to the [[Gallery Manager]] if they own them. For other galleries, users may simply visit one and click the "Gallery Stats" link on the right.

#Wait for the uploading to finish.

==[[Rewards]]==
Each hit on a user's galleries rewards [[GP]] (users will not be rewarded until after 4 hours have passed and the gallery is not [[expunged]] during that time). Getting enough hits can also earn a ranking in the uploader / gallery [[toplists]]. Some conditions apply. If a gallery received an [[Existing Gallery Warning]] it will earn no GP.

==As Published==
*All published works such as CG sets must be uploaded "as published" as closely as possible.
*Non-supported image files such as PPM must be converted to PNG of the same resolution as the non-supported file type.
**Uploading both JPGs along with the PNG files is permitted.
**File sizes should remain reasonable (e.g. a 250MB PDF should not lead to a 700MB gallery). It is permitted to downscale original images only to bypass the 10MB file size limit (and the original files must be included in the gallery's [[torrent]]).

==Image Grouping==
When uploading an [[imageset]] it is important to know that fully dressed people not engaging in sexual behavior is not viable for [[tagging]]. e.g. If a gallery is uploaded containing 10 pictures of girls standing around in [[bikini]]s and 2 pictures of normal sex then the gallery is not viable for any [[tags]].

This can be avoided by either:
*Splitting up up the content into two galleries, one with sexual content and one with [[non-h]] content. That way both galleries will be viable for [[tagging]] their respective content. Make sure they are [[category|categorized correctly]].

Alternatively:
*If the image collection largely contains the same fetish across the board simply sorting them in ''sexual'' and ''non-sexual'' sequences within the gallery will be enough, the non-sexual images will not be viable for [[tags]] but the sexual content will be grouped and hence maximized for viable [[tags]].

This is true for all [[Fetish_Listing|fetishes]]; a grouped fetish in a larger gallery with many different fetishes requires a lot less pictures compared to those that are spread out.

This feature allows users to set galleries as their favorites.

==Adding and removing==
Galleries may be added to a user's favorites list by clicking on the "Add to Favorites" link below the gallery's [[rating]]. Users may also add a note to each favorite gallery (max 250 characters each). Whilst galleries do display the number of times they have been favorited, this has no bearing on the gallery. Users may also add their own galleries to their favorites. Removing can be done from the [http://g.e-hentai.org/favorites.php Favorites] page en masse.

==Colors==
Users may select from 10 different colors when designating a gallery as a favorite. Each color may be given a name through [http://g.e-hentai.org/uconfig.php the settings panel]. This allows users to categorize their favorites such as by fetishes, [[Gallery Categories]], or any other criteria that the user wishes to use.

==Searching==
Users may search their existing favorites list from within their favorites page. It is possible to filter the searches based on color.

==Limits==
*Favorites initially are limited to 1,000 slots. This can be increased up to a maximum of 25,000 through the "More Favorites" [[Hath Perk]] series.
*Favorites do not carry over when a gallery gets [[replaced]] with a newer version. Users may either decide to follow the system links or favorite the newer gallery.
*Favorites automatically get deleted when a gallery gets removed from the system.
