&lt;div&gt;As of January 30th 2011, the monster lab was released in the major 0.5.0 update. While still in development, the lab allows the players to create custom monsters that any players can then encounter during battles. A monster slot is needed in order to create a new monster, such slots can be unlocked using [[Items#Tokens|Chaos Tokens]]. A new monster is created by giving it a name, a base class and a primary attack type. Some guidelines should be followed regarding the name of the monsters in order to avoid libelous or retarded names. However, each addition Ability Point invested in the AOE spells increases its damage dealt (by 25% when maxed) and decreases it&#039;s MP cost (by 50% when maxed), in addition to decreasing the associated single-target spell&#039;s MP cost (by 25% when maxed).
