If you find any of the data to be incorrect, please feel free to correct it. This includes:

  • Equipment descriptions on their use
  • Incorrect data
  • Missing values
  • New equipment to substitute for the max/min values
  • Anything else


The tables below details the max and min values equipment will generate with at level 300 (number chosen by (User:Red Piotrus). Good equipment needs more than to have a max value in a particular stat. Depending upon the equipment type, certain characteristics are more important than others

For example:

  • Axes: Bleeding Wound %, Bleeding Wound Damage, Bleeding Wound Duration
  • Dagger: Parry
  • Rapier: Pierce %, Pierce Duration, ADM
  • Etc


Suffix Stat Bonuses
Equipment Suffixes have certain stats go above the norm of particular pieces of equipment. Stats are in the process of being listed in a way to differentiate between the two stats. This is done to know what is actually possible to obtain on equipment since only one suffix is possible. Some equipment pieces only produce certain stats due to the suffix.

Values not affect by suffixes are

  • Burden
  • Proc Values (Hit Proc %, Duration, Value)


General Data

User:Red Piotrus has chosen the comparison level for equipment to be 300 for scaling purposes. To determine what stats your equipment will have at a specific level, please check (Cmal's Equip Calc). As equipment levels get higher, more apparent differences between stats are observable. This value was also chosen due to it not being so high as to give unrealistic numbers (such as 4000% evade), yet high enough to see how it would practically stack against other equipment

The base stats (level 0) could have been chosen, giving smaller base numbers. This could be implemented in the future for different categories as part of a later change.


Rare Equipment Certain equipment have low numbers that are publicly kept and linked: Wakizashi, Katanas, Sword-chucks, Scythes, Kevlar, etc. These numbers are less reliable, and should be updated frequently if possible.


Discussion: in the forum thread, few use this wiki for much discussion. To do:

  1. Add more generic ranges (ADM, AAB, AAC, Parry, PAB for items not of the right suffixes)
  2. Add tables for equipment that have certain stat-specific modifiers (Battlecaster, Focus)
  3. Add Staffs
  4. Add Shields
  5. Add Armor (divided between slot, type)
  6. Add base values (level 0) for equipment. Low priority, could be done as (XX / XX) per column

Comments: Likely the best Bleed Wound values for 1H weapon, axes seem to be the 1H Bleeding Wound weapon of choice. Bleed is useful versus high hp mobs as well as versus bosses and higher legendaries. Therefore a high hit proc, bleeding wound value and duration are of utmost importance. Three high primary (bleed-related, in this case) values make an excellent axe, with varying degrees of quality with other values.

Comments: Not a popular weapon for use in combat. Attributes seem very similar to axes, however Bleeding Wound is a much more popular ability due to faster elimination of mobs. Stunning has a reduced advantage due to a lower duration, and the lack of benefit when fighting multiple mobs.

Comments: daggers are rarely used, as rapiers offer similar parry functionality (with perhaps a 2-3% less common average and 1-2 less common average interference), with a much more useful Processed Armor proc; while Axes offer a better damage output and a higher Bleeding Wound proc.

Review: Popular weapon due to the Penetrated Armor proc. The most important attributes of a rapier are the proc chance and duration, followed by other stats such as ADM, parry, and so on. The rapier's primary function is to proc the Penetrate Armor to boost physical damage bosses and higher legendaries. Penetrate armour will be wasted on regular mobs on lower difficulty. They are frequently offhanded with dual wielding combined with their parry bonus, or used in the main hand with a shield.

Comments: Uncommonly used in combat. Compared to axes, shortswords have 25% higher AAB with the additional parry trait, but a much weaker (25-50%) Bleeding Wound proc. Compared to rapiers and daggers, their parry chance is smaller; their interference is higher than daggers and their low Bleeding Wound proc is less useful than rapier's Piercing Armor proc.

Comments: Sword Chucks have no AAB, but they have the highest ACB out of all weapons in game. They are occasionally used by high level players, whose stats and other equipment compensates for lack of AAB bonus, maximizing critical attacks.

Battlecaster examples: (Average Prism Wakizashi of the Battlecaster)

Comments: Rarely used on its own, wakazashis can be paired with a katana for the Nitchen Ichiryu fighting style. The important stats of a wakizashi is parry, as damage output is going to be secondary to the katana. In fact, as it will have smaller bleed than the katana, low proc chance is desired, as you don't want your wakizashi bleed to overwrite your stronger katana one. Some may argue that any bleed is better than none, though. Either way, wakizashis seems to have only one primary stat - parry; everything else is secondary - nice if high, but it is the parry that makes or breakes the waki.

Comments: rarely used. While attack damage bonus is slightly higher than with a longsword, attack accuracy is lower, and Bleeding Wound is usually more useful than Penetrated Armor. Both are often combined in a dual wield style, as 1H rapiers are a PA weapon of choice, offering slightly lower attack damage mod for a higher attack chance mod, and lower interference. Rapier's proc duration seems slightly shorter (max of 6, with max of 7 on estoc), but the difference is rather negligible.

Legendary: Legendary Sapphire Longsword

Comment: a relatively popular 2H weapon; compared to its most popular 1H equivalent, longswords have about 20% higher damage output, higher minimum (bot not maximum) crit bonus, about 2x the weight penalties, and +1 proc duration. Compared to katanas, they have lower (halved) accuracy bonuses, possibly slightly lower crit bonus, and one less attribute bonus. This suggests that a katana is strictly better than a longsword.

Staffs

Ebony

Focused on elemental damage boosts with a decent ether thief rating, these are a favorite of fire/ice/electric/wind mages.

Katalox

These give great holy and dark damage bonuses but pretty lousy ether thief chance. A favorite of light and dark mages.

Oak

Meh... Supportive and Curative boosts are pretty much useless. There are Heimdall versions as well but low Magic Damage Bonus is a big hindrance. Examples: [74] (Heimdall), [75], [76]

Redwood

The have the highest Ether Thief rating at upto 50% but are poor in most other ways. More of a beginner's staff until they can afford more mana potions. Used to be more effective at recovering mana.
Examples: [77] (50% ET), [78] (48% ET)

Willow

Can have decent Ether Thief rating. In theory, useful for dark mages. Example: [79] (40% ET).
