Due to various circumstances the administration of E-Hentai has decided to end its development and begin retiring the site. New accounts may no longer be created.
FAQ
- Is everything deleted/gone?
- No but access to certain content has been greatly restricted. Further restrictions may occur in the future.
- Will a backup be made of all content?
- This is currently the plan. The specifics of how have not yet been announced.
- Is a new site planned?
- There are no such plans. Third parties may be establishing their own mirrors.
- Can you just move everything somewhere else?
- The logistics of moving the entire site are momentous and there is serious risk that the problems facing the site now will simply reappear.
- How long until the site is retired?
- Barring any major events the current iteration of the site should continue until 2020.
- Can I still upload, tag, comment, etc. on the galleries?
- Yes. All gallery activities are continuing as per usual.
- Please do not attempt to remove valid tags from galleries, this will be met with a ban.
- What can we do to help?
- Please do not pester the administration with any queries, suggestions, or offers unless they are of great significance.
- Seed any gallery torrents or run H@H clients if you have any.
- For your own backup you may archive whatever galleries you desire.
- If you have excess Hath/Credits/GP you may give them away to other users so that they may download archives. For converting currencies see GP Exchange/Hath Exchange.
- Will download costs be reduced/removed?
- No, this would cause further strain on our servers.
- Should I send money?
- Donations are appreciated but not necessary. This is a logistical and legal matter moreso than financial.
