How do you tell if a monster is common, boss, mini-boss, etc? There is no explanation in the article on how to differentiate between them and there should be.

Until I know how to categorize monsters, I am including their scan info below (please delete this once added)

I scanned the following unlisted monster:

Scanning Kiryu...
  HP: 88/292  MP: 30/51  SP: 7/14
Monster Class: Mechanoid, Power Level 19
Melee Attack: Piercing
Weak against: Elec
Resistant to: Piercing, Fire, Cold, Wind, Holy, Soul
Impervious to: Nothing

Found it during grind-fest, its name is not marked in any special way, as if it is a common monster. It is showing as level 24 despite the scan saying 19 (I was level 27 at time of fight so maybe its average?).

I got tired of not knowing what to call monster attacks, so I decided to add some definitions. I went with "Skill" and "Spirit Attack", because using "Magic Attack" for attacks that may be physical is a little confusing, and I couldn't think of anything better for Spirit (and "Soul Attack" is just wrong). --Sayo 10:34, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't know who added it, but I cannot see any possible value in knowing the Monster Id #. And bolding the name of the monsters just looks awful. Awful I say.- Boggyb

Updated some infos. I didn't see Yggdrasil use it's spirit attack, it probably don't have any. Also, even with weaken and bewilder up, the sisters seem to still be able to crit all their attacks if they have the Fury of the Sisters buff. I couldn't test their resistances/weaknesses, even if they all seem pretty resist to holy at least, which seems logical, because they are goddesses. My banish hitted them only for 500 with PA up. - Vaelh

Who the hell put the Monster Id # info back? And why the hell are they including it in the first place? --Boggyb 16:56, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

How do you tell if a monster is common, boss, mini-boss, etc? There is no explanation in the article on how to differentiate between them and there should be.
