Every 10 levels, starting with level 1, brings a new tier of abilities that may be purchased with ability points. One ability point is granted per level. Additional points may be purchased via Training.
Basic Abilities
Every rank has the following:
Experience Bonus (x3) - provides 3% experience boost per level
Health Tank (x3) - boosts total HP by 3%
Magic Tank (x3) - boosts total MP by 3%
Spirit Tank (x3) - boosts total SP by 3%
Overcharge Boost (x5) - boosts Overcharge limit by 2%
The Tiers
Tier 1: Beginner
Unlocks at Level 1.
Fireball - A ball of fire is hurled at the target, causing Fire damage. (Fire I - Single Target)
Inferno - Unleashes an inferno of flames on all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Fire I - Area of Effect)
Flame Tongues - Increases your Fire Rating by 2%.
Poison - Inflicts Spreading Poison on one target, causing heavy damage over time. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Aura Slot I - Unlocks an Aura Slot, allowing you to spend an Aura Point to activate an Aura. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Tier 2: Novice
Unlocks at Level 10.
Icestrike - Launches a pillar of ice against the target, causing Cold damage. (Cold I - Single Target)
Snowstorm - A snow storm surrounds all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Cold I - Area of Effect)
Cold Snap - Increases your Cold Rating by 2%.
Slow - The target is slowed, making it attack less frequently. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Item Slots I - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Cure - Restores a moderate amount of Health on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)
Tier 3: Apprentice
Unlocks at Level 20.
Lightning - A bolt of lightning strikes the target, causing Electrical damage. (Elec I - Single Target)
Thunderstorm - A thunder storm surrounds all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Elec I - Area of Effect)
Static Charge - Increases your Electrical Rating by 2%.
Weaken - The target is weakened, making it deal less damage with physical attacks. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Aura Slot II - Unlocks another Aura Slot, allowing you to spend an Aura Point to activate another Aura. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Tier 4: Journeyman
Unlocks at Level 30.
Windblast - A blast of wind hits the target, causing Wind damage. (Wind I - Single Target)
Cyclone - A cyclone surrounds all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Wind I - Area of Effect)
Storm Field - Increases your Wind Rating by 2%.
Sleep - The target is lulled to sleep, preventing it from taking any actions. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Item Slots II - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Shield - Places a shield effect on the target, protecting it from physical attacks. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
Tier 5: Artisan
Unlocks at Level 40.
Condemn - Holy damage. (Holy I - Single Target)
Purge - Holy damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Holy I - Area of Effect)
Redemption - Increases your Holy Rating by 2%.
Haste - The target is hastened, allowing it to attack more frequently. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
Aura Slot III - Unlocks another Aura Slot, allowing you to spend an Aura Point to activate another Aura. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Tier 6: Expert
Unlocks at Level 50.
Flare - A powerful fiery blast envelops the target, causing heavy Fire damage. (Fire II - Single Target)
Meteor - A meteor strikes the battlefield, enveloping all hostile targets. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Fire II - Area of Effect)
Hellfire - Increases your Fire Rating by 2%.
Shadow Veil - A veil of shadows surrounds the target, making it harder to hit with physical attacks. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
Item Slots III - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Barrier - Places a barrier effect on the target, protecting it from magical attacks. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
Tier 7: Master
Unlocks at Level 60.
Freeze - Cold damage. (Cold II - Single Target)
Blizzard - Cold damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Cold II - Area of Effect)
Absolute Zero - Increases your Cold Rating by 2%.
Confuse - Confuses the target, making it lunge out wildly and strike friends and foes alike. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Focused Aura I - Increases your maximum Aura Rank by one, allowing you to upgrade your Auras to become more powerful. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Tier 8: Champion
Unlocks at Level 70.
Ball Lightning - Elec damage. (Elec II - Single Target)
Column Lightning - Elec damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Elec II - Area of Effect)
Super Conductor - Increases your Elec Rating by 2%.
Bewilder - The target is bewildered, making it deal less damage with magical attacks. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Item Slots IV - Increases your number of Battle Inventory Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Regen - Places a heal over time effect on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)
Tier 9: Hero
Unlocks at Level 80.
Gale - Wind damage. (Wind II - Single Target)
Hurricane - Wind damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Wind II - Area of Effect)
Pressure System - Increases your Wind Rating by 2%.
Blind - Blinds the target, reducing the chance of landing attacks and hitting with magic spells. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
X-Item - Your skills at using items are boosted, decreasing usage time by 25%. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Tier 10: Lord
Unlocks at Level 90.
Smite - Holy damage. (Holy II - Single Target)
Banish - Holy damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Holy II - Area of Effect)
Sanctity - Increases your Holy Rating by 2%.
Absorb - The next magical attack against the target will be absorbed and partially converted to MP. Additional points increase the duration and power of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
X-Attack - Your skills at wielding weapons are boosted, decreasing attack time by 25%. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Tier 11
Unlocks at Level 100.
Soul Reaper - Soul damage. (Soul I - Single Target)
Soul Harvest - Soul damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Soul I - Area of Effect)
Searing Radiance - Increases your Soul Rating by 2%.
Spark of Life - Any attack that would normally kill the target leaves it alive with 1 HP. The buff is removed when triggered. Additional points increase the duration and power of the spell. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
Focused Aura II - Increases your maximum Aura Rank by one, allowing you to upgrade your Auras to become more powerful. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Cure II - Restores a large amount of Health on the target. (Curative - Self-Targeted)
Tier 12
Unlocks at Level 110.
Nova - Fire damage. (Fire III - Single Target)
Flames of Loki - Fire damage. Additional points decrease the cast time and mana cost, and increases spell damage. (Fire III - Area of Effect)
Mark of Muspell - Increases your Fire Rating by 2%.
Silence - The target is silenced, preventing it from using special attacks and magic. Additional points increase the duration of the spell. (Depreciating - Single Target)
Scroll Slot I - Increases your number of Battle Scroll Slots by one, allowing you to bring more items to battles. (Permanent - Cannot be Reset.)
Flame Spikes - A shield of flames surrounds the target. Fire mitigation is increased, and physical attackers take minor fire damage. (Supportive - Self-Targeted)
Tier 12
Unlocks at Level 130.
Tier 13
Unlocks at Level 150.
Tier 14
Unlocks at Level 170.
Tier 15
Unlocks at Level 190.
Tier 16
Unlocks at Level 200.
